Oh yeah, forgot what this one was at first. This was the first one I'd seen that pulled the wraparound power counter (the power measure only shows two-three digits; his power is 10,002 or something so it looks like his power is just 2; strongest legendary hero was 70 BTW). Haven't seen this in a while. One thing I've really wanted to see happen: he defeats the queen, and when she demands to know who he is, he uses his barrier magic to display the numbers 02, then 002, then 0002, then 10002, while we see the color drain from her face, first realizing it's her son, then wondering why he keeps adding zeroes, then thinking no way, and finally collapses in terror at a creature on the level of a god.

Certainly generic, even beyond what I recalled. I feel like at this point "reincarnated with cheat powers" is becoming so standard that the authors are literally trying to just get that out of the way, inform the audience that yeah this is one of those and then move on. Well, as long as the real content is worthy, I'm fine with that.
I do hope reason is given why a little girl who literally grew up with him would be uneasy with a boy her age and apparently have always been. Kids act that way around people they don't really know, but since she grew up with him he should be more familiar than that. And yeah, I got the numbers wrong. I could've sworn his level was 10,002. Still, given that no one's even approached the hundred mark close enough to warrant adjusting the crystals, his mana power should still be something like fourteen times the strongest person on record. |

Yea, this really feels "paint by the numbers". I'm a sucker for isekai so no matter how garbage a show is, I'll watch it but so far I'm not feeling particularly enthused for this one. Though I do like the concept of the counter wrap thing, that was amusing. But the fact that we have yet another fantasy show that uses hard numbers is just annoying. I guess they want to appeal to gamers, but it just seems weird to have stats in the first place. It's like a crutch for writers that are too lazy to inform the audience of a person's abilities through actual storytelling heh.

I also chuckled when the breast milk thing came up. Given how the boing-boing goddess set the tone, when he mentioned needing milk I was like ahh here comes the fanservice train hehe. I had to roll my eyes at how !@#%&#@ stupid MC is. I get he's a recluse and likely has zero experience with women, but c'mon... you can't tell me he doesn't know that to breastfeed he's going to need bare breasts. First he freaks about her being naked, then after giving her the black suit he freaks again when she unzips. (facepalm) Also given that wolves breastfeed, it would have been much more funny if Flay stayed in her natural form and tried to get him to latch onto her that way |

So far this is certainly better than many other of its "generic isekai" cousin shows. The characters are pretty charming, the animation is okay and the power set of the MC is alright as well. Flay certainly hits the spot as a cute animal woman. ^^ So far, I think I'll stay with this one, but two more episodes to see how it progresses.
