LOL Ep 11 was really hilarious. I love how Sasuke-Ninjas act and talk like crazy otaku. It seems like they watch too much anime and stuff...

BTW Kaede's mom is my favorite female character in the series.

Is It Just Me Or Is This Series Amazingly Amazing...

In Fact, The Amazingness Is So Mind Explodingly Mind Exploding That Anyone Other Than Me Who Thinks About The Amazingness Would Find Their Skull Shattered And Mind Exploded...

Cause Seriously, Its So Freakin Hilarious And I Have Only Seen The First Two Eps...

Any Comments About This Series Are Appreciated...

I love this show. I love this show. It is funny and makes me laugh.

And ep 10 was just too good. And thankfully it's a short series, so I won't have bad memories of lame later eps.

Speaking of Byakugan, did you know that the seiyuu of Shinobu is the same woman who voices Hinata from Naruto.(and Lucy Liberty:F-Zero Falcon Densetsu,Nana from Seven of Seven)

Americans never developed it very far because they’re too ham-fisted and lack of respect for something as foreign, tradition-bound as ninjitsu, leaving the English as top ninja.

I see that a release date has been announced for the first DVD.

Ninja Nonsense Vol. #1 25th July 2006

And it's available for pre-order from sites such as DVDPacific. AoD list it as 90 minutes.

Hmm, checking Right Stuff they have this to say.

Right Stuf is proud to announce that on July 25, 2006, Ninja Nonsense: The Legend of Shinobu DVD 1: Enter the Ninja will be unleashed!

Do you like ninjas? How about cute girls, psychotic spherical headmasters, talking alligators, or adorable ninja trainees who constantly screw up, but never give up? If you answered yes to any of these, then you need to check out Ninja Nonsense!

Ninja trainee Shinobu is sent on a mission by her pervy headmaster to collect underwear from high school girls! Her first target? Kaede Shiranui! Then, Shinobu takes Kaede on a crazy adventure to the Valley of the Ninja to meet her Head Master! And just when things couldn't get any weirder, the rainy weather drives bored ninjas into looking for the Loch Ness Monster in their pond... only to find an Onsokumaru-eating crocodile instead!

Ninja Nonsense DVD 1 includes the first six stories, plus tons of extras: four TV spots, two textless openings, a reversible cover, PLUS a 12-page booklet featuring Japanese Production Journals, Happy Doodles from the Japanese art staff, and more! Well, do you think that would be censored?

Actually, that's something I'm just wondering about : rated +15... Let's see : "Strong violence and strong language. Prevalent Nudity may be contained within the picture. Mild sexual situations may be shown."...

Strong language? Prevalent Nudity? Mild Sexual situations? Yeaaaaah that's precisely why we love Shinobu!

Having recently finished this I have to say that this series was really a pleasant surprise. I didn't have any expectations and had pretty much no idea what I was about to watch.
Wakamoto Norio as Onsokumaru was pure genius and the overall random comedy was hilarious. And with this anime having no plot or whatsoever that's the most important thing. This show is pure comedy and since it did not fail to make me laugh out loud and often I can only conclude that it's really good.
I certainly wouldn't mind rewatching it some time or another.

Oh, and did I mention that Wakamoto Norio is a genius?
