Yeah, that was me. Unless you guys drop it or we get incredibly bored, we're done. We were hoping a real group would pick it up anyway. The way we do things we could have subs out a few hours after the show airs if we tried, but the quality would of course be subpar. Our release probably would've come a lot earlier if I had asked the translator to watch the show when it aired instead of two weeks after.

Took me a while to find this forum

I just watched GMB's version (saw Frothbite's when it came out but sadly I can't get their stuff to work on my PC so I can only watch it on my PSP) and it was a good preview piece. I applaud a group that strives to raise awareness of a show. Lots of people only download shows when they see a number of groups are doing it because they then assume it's really popular.

Anyhow, good show. Funny and I like the character designs. However, I need to say this. That's gotta be the coolest yet most misleading intro ever. It reminds me of when I saw the first episode of Genshinken which had the Unbalance intro. Anyhow, awesome song. I'll likely actually buy the CD. I'll have a lot of fun skipping ahead and showing a friend of mine just the intro and see what he makes of it

EDIT: Actually, anyone who likes heavier music, I'd strong suggest picking up the op album from somewhere. Not only does the intro song rock but Kokou no Sousei has to be one of my favourite anime songs now.

Inspired by pure boredom and a drive to procrastinate my last two weeks of undergrad college, me and GMB (2 people!) decided to keep subbing Magipoka for now. Episode 2 is done. Check the "other" sources. Not sure if I can link it here since it's quasi-licensed.

Just loved that OP. Heavy metal all the way!
The anime itself is funny, with lots of fanservice and some ecchi, although a little silly. Definetly a watch for me this spring.

I kinda wish there were two shows. One, the one we already have with a different intro, and then another with the intro we already have but the show being more serious and dark.

Not that there's anything wrong with this show. It's just... well, I said something similar about Futakoi at one point and yay! Victory! So I guess I'm hoping for douces

That singer is the same person who did the PS2 Mai-Hime game music, if you like her stuff then that disc is another option.

While Magipoka has not been licensed yet, it is produced by MFI, therefore we won't be listing fansubs here on AnimeSuki. See Removal of Media Factory Inc. Works for details.

Wow, I haven't had this much fun watching an anime in a while. I had to contain my laughter in some parts, since I was watching it on the train after hours .
Ep. 1 was a riot, and 2 left me in a state of shock after the line "the bloodline ended" . This might compete for my attention along with Haruhi.

this show is another "keeper" from '06. i love this show cuz its soo cute, echi and funny w/out being in too bad taste. from the stories u would think its made for kids but some scenes are definately not for kids lol. cant wait for next episode to come out.

I hate steam (almost as much as I hate crows lol), anyway Magipoka continues to be insane fun. Ep 5 was hilarious, especially Ai's little submarine, but at the end did...

Hmm... As of now(episode 5), two of them already had guys(although those were as abnormal as princesses themselves)... I think robo-lady will have a hard time finding one, but all the rest will have no problem with it - some guys just love them cute&clueless.

And, just how did Pachira survive in the sun eh?

Episode 6 was pretty hillarious

Spoiler for Episode 6 story:

Yuuma died and went to hell where she is punished by an Oni-versions of Liru, Pachira, and Ai - but she is more of a nuisance to them then they are to her, so she is sent to heaven... And heaven is dull - so she goes back to Earth.
In second half we see Yuuma giving a magical show. Unfortunately, spectators don't find it interesting - due to a wrong advertisement made by Pachira - so Yuuma becomes angry at her and uses magic to punish her - in the process attracting more than enough attention from the male part of the audience.
