I don't like Serie's advice to Genau in that flashback, but I guess it fits him?

What do we call the type of demon this guy is, though? A lamia (with a flaming tail-tip)?

So would Fern also get mad at Stark for having supper? Or was he referring to him eating Genau's portion by himself too?

Anyway, yeah, those two did pretty good against that demon. Pretty cool how they both sensed him coming, too.

Pretty sure it's Naga. I don't think I ever seen Lamia depicted with four arms (actual mythical Naga had only two as well, but it's from India where non standard number of arms is standard so Nagas got some more too in modern days as it's cooler)

Sousou no Frieren updated to Chapter 79 and Chapter 80. We meet yet another old Dwarf who is familiar with Frieren. Hemmel's actions in the past really have made a difference in a lot of places. Then there was the thing with the Snow Flowers, which was nice in its own way as it preserves some of the beauty of the world.

Sousou no Frieren updated to Chapter 81. Denken's hometown was inside of a city sealed within a barrier called El Dorado, meant to keep one of the Demon Sages locked within. Frieren refuses a grimoire rather than fight the Demon Sage, as he's one of the eleven mages she's lost to in her life, and since she can't see a way to beat him as of yet she'd rather leave him to die of old age within the barrier. She changes her mind after hearing from Denken about his intention to fight alone though.

Sousou no Frieren has updated to 84. I suppose that gold that can't be refined would be worthless as little more than shiny trinkets, so even if the gold entered into circulation it wouldn't cause a market to crash. I also like that he turns his coat into his sword by turning it into gold. That being said, if the demon dies and the gold vanishes, does that mean the people turned to gold will go back to normal?

I wouldn't say that. You can use it to make unbreakable, lightweight weapons and armor. And it still works as jewelry.

You can't, because Macht's cursed type of gold can't be melted and molted into a different shape.

It would only work if he cursed an already existing piece of armor, weapon, or jewelry to turn into gold, but clearly he's not willing to cooperate.

You can either find preexisting objects in El Dorado and repurpose them (turn a big plate into a shield, for example), or throw things inside, wait outside the barrier for them to turn into gold, and recover them. With a lasso, maybe?
