I really like the character dynamics’s in this series, there’s no character I don’t like which is always nice. Another cute episode!
No camping in this episode, but they still have us great scenery—really looking forward to the next episode because we get to see two different sceneries in one episode. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen anyone attempting to keep warm via aluminum foil—they ended up making her a packaged deal in the end though, I started laughing particularly when they put stamps and stickers on her. |

4 episodes in, and I really totally get Rin. Especially when she's trying out new eats by herself in that cafe, something I also do when going to visiting new places.
This anime is way too comfy Edit: You know that live-cam Rin used in this episode? It's real, and you can check it out here.

I would have totally played Moon Landing twenty-four-seven if they'd had humanoid sleeping bags when I was a kid. Of course, that was when the real moon landings were going on...
I said this in the Encouragement of Climb thread last night - Japanese outdoor life is so darn civilized! The girls have to walk to their campsite, but on the way they get to stop at a cafe and a hot spring? They should try Southern California sometime. We've got the Cosmic Cafe on top of Mount Wilson, but that's about it - and even that's closed in the winter. Quote:

Nadeshiko is so cute! I was surprised Rin didn't connect the puppy to her. But seriously, she's such a bundle of energy and fun, she basically made up the whole first part of the episode. The second part was then made up by Rin and her little tour, which actually reminded me of this little wood house we used to stop by during our trips to the mountains to eat breakfast. It was nowhere near as big or cozy, but good lord, did you eat well. Thanks for bringing up good memories, yuru camp
It actually is. You'd think this would be a very niche show, but good to know that's not the case. |

Sometime all we want is a show that we can sit down and watch with smile on our face.

This show is good for my soul . I agree it is just something you can't help sitting down with a smile on your face and watch. Glad to hear that it is looking good in terms of pre-orders.
Another really enjoyable episode. Honestly I like their usage of phones. Even with the girls off doing different things they can send a good little message, send some pictures, and joke around. They don't have to be all going around together. It was fun watching them try to figure out a good way to avoid buying up winter sleeping bags. But yeah...probably a good move to bite the bullet on that one. Buy up some solid sleeping bags and that'll be fine.

Well, someone's really stacked But enough of that, time for more camping! Poor Rin, you could see the onsen being closed coming from a mile away, but at least she got her wish by the end. Meanwhile, the outdoors club is just having a good time and getting so comfy they barely make it to the actual camping place For a while it felt like Rin was getting the short end of the stick this episode, to be honest, but thankfully she got the nice view she wanted, and so did Nadeshiko by the end. That last part was really sweet, and showed how the two are connecting even if Rin isn't part of the club or even physically close. On that note, I know this is using it well as a means for the two mains to stay in touch and share their different yet similar experiences.
Nice little series this is |

I stuck with this show despite my earlier reservations, and this episode confirmed my decision. I thought this was a beautifully illustrated and heart-felt installment, so I'm in for the duration.
While I know that Nadeshiko has a lot of fans, I prefer Rin. I appreciate her self-confidence and intrepid love of adventure. Yes, she's a bit remote now, but we know she won't remain so until the end of the story. I also find her character model and voice actress quite appealing.
