Seems like Chainsawman will end soon, probably in the next 6 chapters. Norma Editorial spilled the beans like they did with KnY.

So Maki is the final boss? I expected Chainsawman another Chainsawman or something like that considering how ridiculous is the series.

How reliable is this? Because it doesn't feel like it's going to end soon AT ALL. The latest chapter basically kick-started a brand new arc.

Dunno, a lot seem to believe it to be real because Fujimoto doesn't want to do a long running series (whatever he sees as long-running is up to him) and because a similar situation of a slip-up and then cover-up happened with KnY back then when people thought that this might go on for longer, like giving the little sis the spotlight and chance to develop as character or that the big bad guy was just the first big bad guy and the second one is even worse.

Shonen Jump News Twitter post

So yeah, you can believe it or not believe it but considering how 2020 went so far, I wouldn't put it past Fujimoto to just end it in 6 chapters, finishing both the volume and the series.

It's really not the same situation as KnY. They were fighting the final boss there, and there were no loose ends.

Here Denji just escaped the final boss, and is nowhere ready to beat her. We're not even sure she's the final boss in fact, there are still the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Darkness, or other primordial devils. The chapter even emphasize this is a new beginning by having Denji be "reborn" in a dumpster again.

It was pretty clear Power didn't have it in her to fully give up Denji to Makima.

There were quite a few callbacks to the first chapter here and it seems fitting since Denji is now essentially starting over from a low point in his life.

I like at how Denji is actually felt saved by Makima in the beginning, therefore he swore his loyalty to Makima

now, he will save himself

Stop killing Power all over again please... let her be happy

I can't tell if Denji is disturbed or if he's having an epiphany at all the praise he's getting. Is he going to be inspired to become a hero of justice this time?

I'm new here but a headword of color title page of chapter92 said "The story rushed into final phase."
It was completely unexpected....

I'd like to see Denji staying as the unpredictable, brash, reckless and foolish protag he has always been.

same.. but at this point, he got no choice
Without Power as his sidekick and Aki as his straight-man, the situation forced him to be the hero because no one left to challenge Makima

Denji looks upgraded, but I dont think its enough to take on them all.
I think this is it, no build-up, no lore, no inner monologues, no training montage, just straight into the final battle.

I loved how Denji bounced back. He realized he has lots of fangirls now, meaning opportunity for tons of sex. Of course, he hasn't forgotten all the tragedy that befell him.

I'll be disappointed if Denji doesn't react to Reze being there.

Never expected to see such words in a moving scene. Then again, this sure looks like final battle.

Do it for Power, Denji!!!!

It is obvious that Denji isn't alone fighting Makima
but the question is, how to surprise Makima when she is too smart and got an army of demons

You call that weakened? Denji struggled but he still beat all of Makima's underlings. Quite the feat.

Considering he couldnt even beat Reze, let alone Quanxi, yea, he's stronger now. I believe they were refering to Chainsawman himself, not Denji.
