off-topic: It really depends on what the cannons are: If the cannons are strictly like the Agni, then I agree, it's gonna run out. Though in the remaster, the Strike can be fitted with power extenders.

But I digress that the cannons might be actually based on F91's VSBR.

Just a question though.

Sei's dad is still alive, right? They don't say where and what he's doing. The OP depicts him like a boss.

If he is going into the tournament, he should be well aware his dad will be in it too.

It was mentioned somewhere in these threads that his dad was elsewhere doing Gunpla-related stuff.

Character descriptions say it all. He is traveling the world right now.

Finally got the time to watch the first two episodes, and I am definitely hooked. It's great to have some light hearted series once in a while, hopefully the Gunpla battles won't become way too ridiculous (like taking over the world using Gunpla ridiculous)

One thing I really like about these two episodes so far is the apparent focus on close combat. Close range combats always make battles more interesting instead of every MS standing there shooting at each other. I hope the emphasize on close range combat will still be there even after Build Strike has its Full Package

While I mostly agree with you on the melee combat (always better looking when it comes to anime/fiction of course):

What I would really like to see in this show would be an extreme long range sniper duel (say something like a custom GM Sniper unit vs Dynames for example)

I would say that is possible for sniper-type MS.

Sorry for resurrecting a sort old/dead thread. I got lazy with keeping up with this show.

Anyway, damn good episode. Really love all the little cameos. Seeing the one Gundam from G-Unit, and the old school head vulcan sound effects.

And finally, this fucking Reiji kid, what the hell is going on with this guy? He teleports away? Doesn't know what school is? Crazy stuff, gotta be an alien, for sure. Sei's reaction at the end was hilarious, I LOLed at that one.
