I want to thank AOI and Wasurenai for reaching episode 22. I'm really liking this series, and I'm glad you guys are still doing this series.
Heh. "Wasurenai" literally means "We don't forget", which is a pretty fitting name for a group willing to keep subbing this great show while others have just stopped. And AOI has been doing a great job since they started. You guys are great! |

We're up to episode 24 now. There's only going to be 52 episodes in total...
Is that even possible for a 1200 page book? Anne of Green Gables lasted 50 episodes and it wasn't anywhere near that long. Quote:

Could you srsly imagine if DB did WMT? Bricks would be flat. Peter Pan and Daddy Long Legs may have lightened it up a little bit, but considering what happens near the end of Green Gables... is that not dark? Last edited by tyciol; 2010-08-12 at 05:38. |

I'm not sure I agree rag, DB did "The Sound of the Wind and the Trees" with LE once I believe. That's a pretty old one.
I checked up on the tracker because I saw some recent episodes here, but there are a lot missing now. Wasurenai and Licca recently did 28-30 and those are visible. Only 1-7 seems to be otherwise visible by other groups though. I haven't gotten around to watching this yet, but since many tracker sites go down, I save whenever possible. The recent loss of AniRena, this was fortunate. Episode 28 which is on Nyaa actually has an anirena file name so this transfer is obvious. Episodes 8-24 were on Anirena as well, I know because I had saved the .torrents for them and they have this prefix. WSRN and Aoi teamed to do 8-9 and 19-24. Based on the file name it looks like Aoi worked on 10-18 solo. Possibly their team broke and reunited or something. I am unsure what the status is for episodes 25-27. I don't have tracker files for these three. Somewhere along the line, WSRN dropped Aoi and teamed up with Licca instead. I am unsure when this occured. Presumably WSRN did 25-27 but I am unsure whom they did it with. I'm going to check out http://wasurenai-subs.com to see if there's any progress in figuring out the missing trackers. Licca is on http://liccafansubs.blogspot.com and Aoi is on http://www.aoi-anime.info/ Based on Aoi's site, I am going to operate under the assumption that they produced 25 and 26 with WSRN so the only episode I'm not sure of is 27. Alrighty, due to the AniRena debacle, Aoi seems to be hosting theirs on AnimeAddict which is up: http://www.anime-addict.info/tracker/ here are links to the trackers for episodes 25/26: 25: http://anime-addict.info/torrents/%5...5D.mp4.torrent 26: http://anime-addict.info/torrents/(AniRena)[WSRN-Licca]Les_Miserables_Shoujo_Cosette_26_[AE4ED061][HD].mp4.torrent If there's a mod who could add these to the animesuki tracker that would be great since there's no means for fan submission. What's a pure oddity IMO is that while 25 is WSRN/Aoi, even though Aoi linked to 26 on their blog, it is tagged with Licca rather than Aoi. So therefore, I'm going to assume this is the episode the transfer took place in changing hands with, and under the assumption that 27 like 28 was WSRN/Licca. Another useful thing to add would be this one for episodes 1-23 if it's okay http://www.nyaatorrents.org/?page=to...nfo&tid=133961 Now to see if a tracker can be found on Licca's blog for 27 since there's nothing on Nyaa until 28. http://liccafansubs.blogspot.com/sea...s%20Miserables ... http://liccafansubs.blogspot.com/201...-released.html yep confirmed. Unfortunately there's no direct link. Eh, I'm sure it'll turn up sooner or later. Last edited by tyciol; 2011-01-14 at 14:11. |

[EDIT] To make things simpler. Someone made a batch with episodes 1-23. Just search on the Toshokan for it.

I just finished les miserables today and i feel so happy and sad, it was such an emotional ride. I know that the novel was much darker and a lot of worse things happened but i feel so content with how they set up the anime and ended it that i don't think i'll read the novel or watch the play until much later.
After watching this i don't feel like watching another world masterpiece theater adaption for a while now (i watched heidi of the alps about a year before this also a great story). I changed my mind i'm now watching The Trap Family also made by world masterpiece theater ^_^ Last edited by royalzaku; 2014-11-30 at 01:17. |
