Nope. It's an adaptation of a popular Chinese novel series

I've tried chinese animation before but the dub is really hard to swallow, the same with the korean but I guess it's because so much time watching japanese that I'm used to it.

I saw this was in the japanese dub and decide to try it and the first chapter was pretty good and there some good jokes too.
