It IS funny however that people are trying to force Guile's Theme meme onto op songs, but come on, Guile's Theme meme is Guile's Theme meme for a reason.

IMO, Prillya is as good as an adaptation can be. It remains faithful to the material, it expands upon it and it does not fear to do its own thing and be creative. Its certainly the best treatment that fate has ever got too and now that treatment is being given to the material that is arguably the best material in whole fate.

As for calling my statement bait? Well excuse me if for you someone having opinions you do not agree with counts as bait. That's not exactly my problem.

Well-put, I completely agree. It is good to know that Miyu has made some real friends, as that makes her current predicament all the more compelling.

Agreed. Some of the comedy that comes from Illya's friends is good, but I can do with a little less loli sex innuendo.

This is why I didn't watch 2wei, was because it was too heavy on the SoL, which in this series generally means loli softcore porn and/or innuendo. Even in this episode, they couldn't even add original material of their friends leaving without plugging in some loli yuri innuendo set off by a very unnatural and forced slip on the part of Illya.

This. They are good in small doses and when the loli softcore stuff is kept to a minimum.

The male characters are the ones who benefited the most form the character design's change. Shirou finally looks like himself, and Gil looks a lot better (his eyes were way too big in Zwei).

Just noticed that they actually had Chloe react to redhead loli's weapon when she was powering it up. Nice attention to detail, silverlink.

Interesting thing! Notice that as long as episode was set in Prismaverse, old Katou's soundtrack was used. Once story moves to Miyuverse, new soundtrack starts play out.

I was thinking back when they announced the music director change that that might be why they did it. The same technique was used to great success for the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie, though I think the original composer was still involved, in that case.

Episode 02

Spoiler:

Tanaka is still mysterious as always. I love this character and her jovial personality. It seems that they've shortened the confrontation Between Tanaka and Beatrice. I hope they will go all out in the next episode with the fights.
The part with Kirei & his Mapo Tofu was funny and Gil is cute in this form.
The part with Shirou is quite moving when you know what happened to him before that.
Gil vs Angelica in the next episode! HYPE !

I lost it at "yorokobe, shoujo". I still love Kotomine and Gil as chars so this ep was full of awesome. Also Tanaka-san is funny, too, and she brings out some nice tsukkomi moments from Illya as well. Can't wait for some delicious and spicy action next week.

Episode 2

Another brilliant episode!

I am kind of surprised they managed to cover two whole chapters without ANYTHING feeling too rushed. They did remove some panels here and there and some foreshadowing but nothing that changes anything too much- the nature of both Gil-kun and Mapo Chief comes off as ambiguous and mysterious as needed. That is an achievement in on itself, but then you have great OST and good animation quality. Prillya episodes are always a treat to watch.

Mapo Tofu scene was glorious, especially that closeup to his intense face. Makes me kind of wish we had silverlink-fsn if that kind of art style would happen in the tense and thrilling moments. That looked beyond great. Oonuma Shin had that artistic style in Rakudai a few times but I can't help but imagine some of very tense fighting moments in FSN drawn like that.

Now to wait for the next episode which considering how this one ended is promising to be explosive.

For some reason, this episode makes me want to ship Prisma Illya with Gil. And this feels so, very, very wrong, considering what another version of Gilgamesh did to the Illya of another world (and Sella and Liz to boot) in UBW....

Made some good forward progress there. Illya managed to encounter Miyu's brother and is left with yet another reason to get Miyu out of there. Can feel for the guy having done all he could to get Miyu away from these people and ending up unable to make that permanent. All he can do is leave it up to others.

Is interesting seeing familiar faces in different situations. The scariest Ramen shop on Earth .

But yeah things end on an exciting note there and should be interesting. Makes sense why Gil is there now considering they have his card.

It's a complicated thing . Though I suppose you can look at it like this isn't exactly that Gil. It's basically half of him and maybe he's actually kind of better like this. But, yeah it feels weird how he can just mess with Illya in this setting and it's good fun.

Kotomine was great this entire episode and I actually like this version of Gil more than the other versions of him.

So glad to see Gil again and also, Kirei's voice is quite a pleasant sight to hear once again.

I guess we'll be getting a good fight next episode based on the buildup this week. But to think, tofu almost got Illya killed this episode..!
