Isn't Rin the only senpai in the harem?

Well is Rin technically even in the harem yet? It seems like she just barely got Momo's attention for the first time recently, and of course Rito is even more oblivious about her.

Still, I don't think we'd need two senpai for the harem, do we? I think it would be good for that to be unique to Rin

She isn't a part of it yet because there's no strong development between Rito and her, compared to the other girls we've focused on until now.

I don't know, with Tearju being a fairly new character (a really hot sexy addition I might add!

) to the series I wouldn't be surprised if we get another girl who's Rin's age aka sempai material to be a harem candidate.

Let's see:

On the alien side we got princesses, shape-shifters, idols, assassins, nurses/doctors, teachers etc.

Outside of aliens we got humans and a ghost girl.

No monster girl that I can recall.

well, I think we're missing an Osananajimi type of girl
or does Haruna fill up that part?

moreover, we're missing a chinese girl, a shrine maiden, a policewoman, a gothic lolita, a girl in a band? etc
there are many types of girls out there lol

You've brought up a really great point! I mean how come Yabuki-sensei hasn't pulled the Osananajimi card on us yet? Having one in a harem is a must because works like Oreimo, High School DxD, Kampfer, Shuffle!, and BokuTomo have used this formula and it's really popular concept in most harem genres. I wonder if he's planning one considering that Tearju was added to the mix not to long ago.

Haruna is a long time crush not a childhood friend because he liked her since middle school. Before TLR started they talked but not very often because of his shy personality.

BokuTomo is a short way of saying "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukanai". It's a light novel series, and it got an anime adaptation last year.

As for a childfriend, maybe Rito has one but doesn't remember due to years of separation. You may never know. A lot manga always do this scenario, and I won't be surprised if Yabuki-sensei threw this out just to get a couple of awes and reactions from fans.

I thought it was called "Haganai" in short way.

If he has one childhood friend, I think we already know that by now. Especially since we got over than a hundred chapters in the main story.
