Why not? We've seen old man Zangetsu fighting with a sword also. It shouldn't even be relevant that her sword looks different from Kenpachi's sword, because she might just be using "a different piece of his heart" like all the various swords that Zangetsu summoned to fight Ichigo with.

Still wondering why the writer has created a character like kenpachi?
Someone who is so fucking strong, that even ichigo craps in his pants when he thinks about fighting kenpachi.

Could there be an cool fate for kenpachi, like kicking ichigo ass, when ichigo becomes evil.
Or becoming the leader of SS

i think the writer created kenpachi to show us its not all about
bankai and ability's =p

and just someone who's crazy, cool and strong without any others help unlike others who really wants to get bankai and stuff =p

Otherwise Kenpachi will never fight them

Is there no explanation/hints/facts in the manga about yachiru?

Why is the white hair boy captain called a genius? I never saw him do any genius stuff.
Maybe the translators have made a mistake, he is not a "genius" but just "gifted".

Gifted is he can use his powers at a early stage.

Genius is he can use his powers do do stuff that nobody else can.

he is the youngest captain and he also posses the strongest snow / ice type soulslayer.. and his shikai is so strong it controls the weather right ?

but his bankai is not yet complete but he is still strong !

after kenpachi fights with ichigo, ken-chan's zanpaktou breaks, doesn't it? isn't there a scene where he's on top of a building with yachiru, being depressed cuz his unnamed zanpaktou is broken?

so how does he get it repaired by the tousen/komamura fight? aren't you supposed to know the name of your zanpaktou in order to force it to repair (like when renji's breaks or when zaraki cuts through zangetsu).

how does he do it? does the fact that it somehow fixed means that he knows the name of his zanpaktou?

btw the thing about yachiru being his avatar is really interesting lol

Nope. The fact that it healed means you don't need to know the name for it to recover.

well, a lot of the shinigamis' abilities aren't specified yet, nor will we proly know for a while. kubo'd proly drop them off randomly to keep us interested :\ the only things we know about yachiru's abilities are that she's ridiculously fast and pretty strong (ichigo notes her reiatsu as she steps on his shoulder, and as she barks at the guard, you get a glimpse of her powers), but aside from that, it's pretty much speculation.

a lot of other VCs don't even have specified powers. like isane, nanao, hisagi ... etc? none of them really have anything specific that can be called an ability, but bleach proly will get around to introducing us to these abilities eventually.

i hope ken-chan's zapakutou wouldn't be lame! if ever he'd discover it... i hope it would match his slash/cut style and make him and yachiru cooler...

what do you guys think will be a good shikia for kenpachi or even bankia. keep in mind that he hates kido type swords, and would rather use physical force.

in the first movie, there was a rouge shinigami who could merge with his sword and become the sword. i think this would have been the best shikia for kenpachi. i can just see him going crazy when he fights.

i think he needs a giant pink sword for shikia and an even bigger purple one for bankai
