They have a guy that smokes already, Sanji, and they have the "badass" character in zoro.

This next character needs to be a screwup. someone that messes up a lot, the outcast of this group. He causes more trouble then it's worth. one of those guys.

so what if they already have someone that smokes...no one on their ship fix ship like these people...and from the looks of it...they are strong as hell....just look at the character design....it either him or the guy with parrot on his shoulder...other people just looks like fill in characters

i vote for parrot guy...the smoking guy seems like he is the leader and mentor of their group and the parrot guy looks like second-in-command...i think it'll be the same as sanji's situation in that the second-in-command leaves for their certain dream and has to say goodbye to their mentor...or i could be totally wrong

If you read the whole thread you'd know that's a previous existing character and not joining the crew.

how about it, it looks like pinochio lookalike, the guy with the galley cap and face not shown in an earlier chapter, is gonna be the newest member(from 325). damn he was my second guess too, because his face was not shown on that page in 323 i think and everyone elses was, so i got a bit suspicious


edit: yea in the image posted by the thread starter, galley is the guy immediately to the left of smoker lookalike. IMO galley looks like the guy from prince of tennis lol, until oda actually showed his face...more like a robot

yes but ice could very well just be a person whos going to lead the crew into the next plot and not have anything to do with the 8th member, i mean ice may be just an informant and not a shipwright


and if you read the raw on arlong park on chp 315, the chance of galley man being the 8th member will shoot up like 400% in your mind, because of the way he interacted with luffy/nami/usopp and i think luffy is impressed with galley being able to jump off a tower and land unscathed, not to mention ultra speed, and we know when luffy is impressed with someone he'll go the length to get that guy to be a member(sanji, chopper). also, hes running off to fix the goingmerry, i think its quite obvious that he will be named the new member

I like that guy for everything but his eye design and nose, which is unfortunate. He was one of the guys I liked from the two-fold splash page a couple chapters ago. I am about 95% sure this will be the guy.

But I really wanted Lue/Rule! His character design is better, and you can never go wrong with a parrot!

Ya know, I'd vote for the pinocchio guy because he looks like a cool dude and would rule as a new crew member. Just look at those billy clubs he's carrying. He'd be nasty with those.

The face looks like a mask, so i dont think any of you have to worry about him stealing Usopps place as the giant nosed guy. His jumping and speed do pique my interest though.

Those are'nt billy clubs they're either files or Chisels. Stadard carpentry tools.
