We don't have a real script for that and half of it is visual effect anyway.

And most of the reason that story was different was because

a) Splitting it into two parts generates suspense,

and b) Because Japanese network censors won't let them show drunk minors on television.

We'll stick with the novel, mostly because we don't really have the ability to generate alot of artwork for everything. Even if there can be; well it'd be quite ridiculous.

I say we take the plot elements we like (Haruki being more involved with discovering the mystery), and include the boozing.

Heh. Yeah, we can do that.

I can't imagine Haruki NOT trying to be involved anyway. As before, the story has to change to accommodate the reversed genders and new personalities that come with them.

And I'd still like to see KyoAni release a DVD OVA of the "real" version of Lone Island...

I'm assuming were gonna stick with the cliff scene outta the Anime?

Typical GAR behavior dictates that under these circumstances, that Haruki must take the fall for Kyonko, and then break it with his face, all on purpose.
