You can try, but I'm not sure how much it's going to help. I've heard of people who pre-ordered Season 2 from DVD Pacific and still haven't received their copies. It seems that this problem isn't limited to just Marimite since other Nozomi/Rightstuf titles from Fall 2008 have yet to materialize from DVD Pacific. By contrast, other online outlets like Amazon haven't had any problems filling those orders. I suggest, for the time being at least, that if you order Nozomi titles, that you look someplace else. (It's really too bad that no other online dealer is as overseas friendly as DVD Pacific.)

I had ordered the first season a while ago from DVD Pacific, but it's just been shipped just a few days ago. It seems that DVD Pacific is going through some troubles. I had sent them an email, and this is the response I got.

Thanks for the replies, everyone - I'll give them a prod, but if nothing comes of it I'll look elsewhere. Up to now I've had no problems buying my R1s through DVD Pacific, so it's disappointing that they should drop the ball on this of all series. But I'm also a prize dope for leaving things this long before following up...

Congratulations, man. Somewhere in the middle of this year I think the 4th Season will go.


As for me, in the next five years I'll try to save up so that I could buy the boxsets at Comic Quest in Manila. In the same timeframe it's not impossible to foresee the licensing of the light novels and the manga, and give me the opportunity to pick up a volume and read it on a rainy day. Patience sometimes has its own virtues.
