This looks great! Then I saw ZEXCS. Maybe they'll pull their pants up for this one but then they did get acclaimed Light Novels before (Itsuten and Denyuuden) and both messed up pretty badly.

Looks like this will be an OVA

Hopefully we'll still get a TV series later on

Seriously? I was kind of looking forward to this.

Guess it's hard to greenlight these kind of projects, though, since TV anime is more expensive...

That was a surprise. ZECXS has published only two stand-alone OVA (Growlancer and Happy World).

An update on this:it's now part of the 2013 anime mirai program ,this wasn't the case initially,it replaced another anime in september.

That's interesting because anime mirai normally features anime original shorts rather than adaptations.

Interesting anime character designs, the style is close to Senjou no Valkyria (the first game).

Anyway, being in that zone means that it will be shorts (<20 minutes), and original/side plot? From the little info I remember the promos visuals match the novel's synopsis

OK, some bad news, I heard that this along with Ryo and a couple of other anime, is a collaboration project from new animators promoted by small studios. It won't be an OVA, but a theatrical release for all four anime projects... so no real chance for a story in 30 minutes, unless the n00b is so skilled to pull out a Hoshi no Koe / Voices from a Star

Oh well, I probably am more lazy than the world average, but still I don't think anyone mentioned it here... which also means that the dude I was talking to in tora-no-ana was right about it... cool, at least I managed to have one successful conversation solely in Japanese

There's some pretty fun shorts that have come out of that project in previous years so I'm still looking forward to it.
