As much as I would like to think otherwise, it is not likely there will be another run after this 25 episodes. Basically, everything has gone according to the novel, which will likely be covered in the 25 of them. Unless JC staff plans something out of source, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Agreed, the most you're likely to get is an OVA as a closeout/cleanup (unless the novel series spins off later or something).
Frankly, I'm fine with a nice complete series that finishes.

It's quite a surprise that Kihara's selfishness would actually enlighten Ryuji of the true state of things. I don't like her self-centered behavior and her possibly trying to deny Taiga her happiness, but at least Ryuji has a clue now.
Oh, and can someone explain the "Guns N' Roses" reference at the end? |

Taiga's happiness makes Kihara unhappy... Are you saying that Taiga deserves to be happy more than Kihara? I think they both deserve to be happy, and if Kihara can do more about it - then she should try to do that. Sorry but it is not altruistic world. You got spoiled by Ryuuji's kindness way too much. |

Mind you, you asked about happiness. If happiness to Taiga is Ryuji and to Kihara is Kitamura, then I have nothing to say. But since Taiga seems happy around Kitamura, for the time being, Taiga deserves happiness more than Kihara does. Haruta's mind is... twisted... |

As always, I tried to organize my reflections on the episode. I'd be happy if you offered comments there:

Heh. I thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas episode. Not just because Taiga walks in on Takasu and his mom bowing down to the incredible and God-like Inko-chan who can apparently arrange full on conversations. Smart bird.
Anyhow, I've been wondering how long it would take Takasu to evaluate his own feelings about things going on around him. Fortunately it seems he's begun to do that as of this episode, with a little help from Kihara. Personally, I never thought Kihara was very selfish, and I know selfish people that are a million times worse. Kihara is just a regular girl, she's not bad for wanting Kitamura for herself rather than letting Taiga have him. Everybody wants to be happy, after all. Taiga would do the exact same thing if Kitamura and Kihara were dating or being setup. It was interesting that she got the impression that Takasu likes Taiga though. I suppose it shouldn't be surprising that she thought that, but considering that possibility was publicly shown to be impossible... I'm surprised. The next few episodes should prove to be very interesting for Takasu, as well as Minorin and Ami. I'm just waiting to see what happens for Taiga that puts her in a similar situation, but my thoughts are Minorin might have something to do with it. ... Anyhow. Respect great Inko, cook a dingo. LAY OFF THE BIRDS! Nuff said.
