Transported from the image thread, continuing discussion on the upcoming doujin BetrayerS

Am I the only one imagining Jail going "I told you you would come to me." when they ask him for help?

Aww, Precia and Alicia are sad that you've forgotten them.

And Regius, Zest, Quint and Due too... but most people don't care for them much sadly...

True, but that's for Midchilda alone.

Which then brings me back again to how big of a scale are we talking about?

Hmm...with Nanoha and Fate being on opposing sides again...does this mean Nanoha will have to 'befriend' her again?

Can you smell the debates over BetrayerS? "Hayate was right!" "No Fate IS right!!!", ad infinitum.

What's all the more surprising is that Nanoha sided Hayate. Is she doing it by her own choice? Or because people like Subaru were looking up to her?

I think Nanoha is on the "darker" side in this one lol. Don't think there's going to be much befriending in this since this is a lot darker than the canon series.

If befriending actually does happen I think Fate would be the one doing it because she's the one sticking to the old ideals of using only magic to uphold the peace. But I don't think this doujin could have a happy ending.

Well, Precia is MIA so she might not be dead (but please don't come back) and Alicia still lives on...inside Fate chan ofc ^^

Who are the rest?

One who should have clearly died in StrikerS was Vita. Stupid haxx deus machina >.>

As for Nanoha going to Hayate...I smell an affair

We still lack details but the TSAB wasnt able or even willing top the forces that dismantled the 108th division, that could mean that they had free reign to raid all the TSAB world, depending on how long it took Hayate to her decision and the time needed to make her own clone army that could leave enough time for a rather disastrous situation for the civilian.

Under those circumstance Hayate could rally alot of support by showing a solution.

Hard to say. It's going to come down to the circumstances leading up to the 'split' from the TSAB. For me it would seem like if the TSAB is really taking a step back from acting on this mass-based weapon situation, Nanoha might feel that she isn't doing what she can to protect others. Where as Hayate (and Jail) are taking that initiative to do what they can to stop this threat so she sides with them to put an end to this threat rather than taking the TSAB's side with waiting/minimal action.

Of course not.

I want to see Hayate (( in a cold voice )) : We tried to be decent soldiers in indecent times. We failed. Not just to ourselves, but to those we swore to protect.

Either way, one of the pages show Commander Hayate entering Jail's tent, who's sitting like some master strategist.

It sounds like it's a multi-dimensional scale incident from Himura's page, but the preview at Melonbooks seem to imply that Fate's rebellion takes place in Mid.

Maybe it has something to do with the 'broken Raising Heart' teaser?

Or maybe Yuuno died.

I am rather amused over how we are discussing over this doujin as if it was really canon. Maybe some of us are seeing this as what StrikerS could have been?

The hell, I am liking it!

I already mentiont in the Image thread.

Nanoha is now something like a 'anti-hero'... maybe it's about time that she finally gets a 'befriending'

Yeah. That is surprising. I always thought Nanoha would always be a character that stands on moral high-ground. (But I thought that about Hayate too)

Ah how low the mighty has fallen.

Why not? From the looks, It's a pretty awsome doujin.

I say KIA untill proven otherwise. It's been ten years after all.

Yeah, as much as I would hate seeing her die, surviving that scene totally ruined the strength of it.

Still, a part of me is glad she did. It'd be difficult to ship NanoVita without Vita. <_<

I'd love to see that.

Mid alone? The incidents take place in 'the TSAB' meaning that Hayate can garner support from any population that has been struck, and the TSAB has failed to help.

Another page for Himura's BetrayalS teaser, this time from Melonbooks.

Nothing really as detailed as Himura's own page, but there are some new pages.

That rises the question.

Why are all combat cyborgs female?

Yeah, Jail used girls to breed. But why the same in the new TSAB?
