Took a look at the episode

I think I saw vyse and he was part of a task force that was trying to draw imperial attention from Welkin's group in Fouzen. The guy doesn't live for long though and him and his entire group is wiped out.

Rosie isn't too keen and she and Zaka(I think that was his name, the darscen guy who assists them in the operation) don't get along too well. When they were on recon, Zaka pretends that he's having fun with Rosie which we saw in the preview to fool some imperial guards walking by.

All in all, an interesting episode with action but I'm curious to see where they go with Rosie and Zaka as there was quite some focus on the two this episode.

Speaking of which, is it possible for an armored train to fire such powerful rounds while on a bridge? I mean that bridge must be really stable and strong to handle the recoil from such a powerful weapon.

Spoiler for Episode 13:

• Of course, we have Zaka debuting in this episode, and he starts off by sabotaging an Empire-controlled foundry, causing it to burn down.
• Crap, not Damon again. He's probably pissed off at Welkin for being so successful, judging by a conversation with one of his subordinates. In fact, I think he only sent the Militia to Fouzen just to get Welkin killed. (probably not, but I wouldn't put it past him)
• The Gallian Militia gets owned by Equus, Gregor's train-mounted artillery cannon. Lots of casualties...
• Welkin's still thinking about what Faldio said to him last episode, concerning Alicia. Maybe he's jealous.
• People who thought Rosie wasn't going to show her anti-Darcsen sentiments, fear not. She's a bitch in this episode, but does show chinks in her armor at points. This episode seems to have her in the spotlight this time.
• Turns out I was wrong. Zaka faked "raping" Rosie to avoid arousing suspicion from a pair of Imperial soldiers. Rosie didn't take that very well, or how Zaka was flirting with her afterward.
• Looks like the episode is mainly a lead-up to the battle to retake Fouzen. That battle will take place in the next episode.

Not an outstanding episode, but still a great look at Rosie. I found Zaka's interactions with her to be interesting. Thankfully, Ramal didn't join in on Rosie's anti-Darcsen sentiments.

Spoiler for Next Episode:

• The saboteurs end up getting into a skirmish with the Imperials.
• Looks like Welkin and Faldio might've gotten into an argument over Alicia.
• More Rosie and Zaka interaction. She's still pissed off at him, but he's doing whatever he can to help her. Although there's one scene where he's pinned her to the ground, protectively, that makes me raise an eyebrow.

I think it has been a while since the anime actually felt like a war anime... Good thing, good thing...
Just a setup episode, but it was interesting. Zaka was a nice character too... Even though the preview tricked me! It was just an act...

Zaka, don't die~...

It doesn't feel that good to ride on that cheat tank, huh... (´・ω・｀)

Poor Vyse.

I like that the focus has moved to Zaka, Rosie and Isara. Looks like that will continue into the next episode. It's interesting for we game fans that know what's going to happen later on.

Somehow I think the studio got bombarded with dozens upon dozens requests to have Vyse as a character... so they answered the fans in the way they felt the requests deserved.

Skies of Arcadia is one of my favorite games ever but I actually find this hilarious and am downloading the raw right now just to see it. And I once thought maybe he couldn't even die in the game. That's what he gets for going up against the "pain train" I guess (I had the English voices on for the game and laughed every time I heard that ridiculous line over the radio chatter )

considering she's basically the spokesperson for the IP, i really doubt you have anything to worry about.

Is it always going to be Alicia who does the noticing and does the firm action while Welkins gets spoiled with care? Anyways, someone slap the mobbing around Welkins! He's more annoying mobbing around than being clueless. I miss our silver hair witch.... ep. 14 looks like things are heating up, should be interesting. Oh... I sense a new love about to emerge from hatred.....

Well while this episode was a bit boring for me, it did get me at least interested in the series again only for the fact that it got back to the battlefield and that some focus was put on Rosie (whichI feel there hasn't been too much of in the last several episodes).

You know, all i wanted to see was Vyse and Aika at some point, even if it was just in the background. To have Vyse show up and then just be killed dosent exactally thrill me ¬_¬

Where was his "challenge lover" potential?

Loved the episode, though I'm also quite partial to Rosie as she's one of my favorites. We haven't seen much of her in recent episodes so I'm very happy to see more of her.
