Another factor is probably panic. The guys may have had their rest, but remember they're not trained soldiers for a crisis like this one, they're just students and a teacher, they often make decisions which can endanger them. Like Takashi having suicidal tendencies because of Rei there injured and can't get up(probably she broke her back or knees), where instead go to through or over the fence, but as we see zombies are everywhere in just a few seconds.

Short distance, yes.. but how far it is from Saya's home? They do not know how bad Rei's injury.. during the whole scene, she was down at the same place she falls too. Only under the security of the cavalries did they attempted to move her over the side.

And 2, while it never been said yet, whatever Takashi did was supported by the group.. Takashi chosen to protect Rei in the first place, the group replies with their support without question.

Another thing is that there might be also zombies on their way on the other side they're trapped! One reason again they don't wanna leave the truck behind.

hmmm... i think they just made the biggest change in plot line in this episode. in terms of chapter titles... 7 chapters skipped from "the dead way home" to "the sword and dead".

interesting how things worked out. laughed alot during the matrix scenes. kohta's song was hilarious too.

Good that we haven't gotten beyond the typical Japanese interpretation of the US Government ("Hey guys! Lets nuke something!")

Anyway, the fighting was better this episode, but the budget seemed totally devoted to the boob matrix scenes. I thing the horde was even CG at some points, which is pretty disappointing. I'm also finding myself in an awkward position as a female viewer, since Hirano definitely has the most admirable personality of the two guys, but isn't physically attractive.

On the plus side, the full version of the opening is pretty awesome, so I guess that makes up for all the bewbies.

i think they will put the skipped chapter in the last 3 episodes

I think all of us laughed at the matrix scene, second is Hirano's singing and probably last is when the girls where changing, such a tease the camera's go to the guys whenever someone is going to drop their dress.

So we can expect ALOT of Saeko x Takashi next week then? lol Saya screaming at Takashi and Saeko. Plot armor really is a bitch.

Maybe the chairman was bitten earlier. Also, the president wad a small bit on his hand, not a gaping wound on his arm.

Maybe the Chairman was infected several minutes or hours prior to the President getting bitten. And what about the Fallout of Nuclear Radiation running around the world and I highly doubt the rest of humanity would turn into radiation resistant ghouls that the surviving zombies may or may not leave alone.

Small bites doesn't turn you into zombies.
Even the dog was biting a zombie and wasn't infected.
It'll probably take a large dose of blood before turning into a zombie.
Or it's just presidential immunity.

Ok why did they think of jumping the fence AFTER they wasted all their ammo? The fence was obviously there for a reason, there was no need to keep firing at all of Them if crossing the fence would have kept them out.

Of course its takes away from dramatic rescue but still...
