Nice, heartwarming episode. Decent blend of comedy, slice of life, and little bits of action. I'm glad to see evil, shady conspiratorial scientists again - This show does that type of character marvelously well.

The Kuroko yuri bits in this episode were actually funny too. I loved her reaction to Mikoto offering to give her a massage.

Pretty good episode for the star of a filler arc. Really looking forward to the rest of it.

Hopefully Misaki or Mugino are one of the main parts.

This is by a long shot the best episode of Railgun so far. Why? It's because there's no plot.

The characters of the Index/Railgun universe are very interesting with amazing personalities. Yet, their development are often hindered by the story, which is often full of plot holes, or just outright ignore the most side characters. It makes me sad, but whenever there are filler episodes like these I absolutely enjoy them.

But... first of all... There are practically no plot holes in this series.

2. Side characters are not ignored... like at all... though if you only watch the anime... you might believe that...

Was too lazy to watch it subbed because I basically understood the Japanese raw after like 5 views...

This was a great episode. The ending is really amazing.

I have high hopes for this filler arc.

Though... I still don't believe Mikoto/Mugino are going to get chummy in this arc. If they do, I can die happy.

Oh yeah and they had 2 cliffhangers this time. Twice as good as usual

By the way, what seems so funny to me is that Mikoto has already forgotten about the darkness of Academy City. She doesn't care that it is so messed up because there exists one good person Touma... Something seems wrong to me with this

Like the previous one, this episode had that genuine Railgun feeling, even improved. Nagai at his best.
Finally Erii had some character depth, her moving in together with Banri was the best decision. Only if Kiyama-sensei would show up, I miss her so much...
Kongou was really cool in action, just can't wait too see Awatsuki and Wannai joining for the final battle, as predicted by the opening.
Febli was really cute, wonder what's her exact connection to Shinobu, and why's Shinbou's with those mad scientist. Things are getting more and more interesting.

When I saw her new hairstyle I paused the player for a few couple of seconds, she's so beautiful, it reminded me of her yukata hairstyle a bit. But still, long straight haired Saten-san is my favorite, that's her trademark:3

I agree with you here. Railgun stretches some things a bit, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for an action-packed show. There's some nitpicks that can be made, but there's nothing I find very hard to swallow. So yeah, I don't know where Kholdstare is coming from on his plot holes criticism.

However...

By the end of the Sisters Arc, I had honestly started to miss Saten and Uiharu a bit. I had started to miss seeing Mikoto interact with the other people in her close circle of friends.

And, honestly, I had pretty much entirely forgotten about Uiharu's roommate, and their mutual friend that was hospitalized. It had been that long since either had significant screen-time.

This isn't a big deal to me personally, and I think the Sisters Arc is Railgun at its best, but I can kind of see where Kholdstare is coming from on that particular point.

Well from the first opening, Touma was suppose to fight Mugino. I wouldn't put much stock in that. Would be nice to see some others fight though.
