Lelouch's past with Marianne and Nunnally, C.C. looking at the lake and castle seen in ep11, a scene from the past with a short-haired Laksharta, Lloyd and a long-haired Cecil celebrating something at a lab, Millay (or Mireille) teasing Shirley during the neko-cosplay moment (did you notice that Rivalz' tail is standing upright? ROFL), Toudou with Diethard...and it ends with the grungy pic of Lelouch hiding his right eye and glaring with his other one.

actually, it was Viletta who drove Shirley to the docks (I guess it's there since there is a boat involved in the battle) to see whether the student she saw in the pic (Lelouch), wasn't involved in the BK business. So basically Viletta left Shirley near the battlefield to identify the bystanders and prisoners...and Lelouch stumbled upon her (while still in his Burai, I believe) - and judging from the screenshots, he was so surprised that he was caught unawares by Suzaku, got owned and ended up injured, eventually falling unconscious in front of Shirley...who, of course, recognized the man who was responsible for her father's death.

The ep ends there...oh, and by the way, it looks like Lelouch nearly showed his face to Kallen but since he was in the shadows with a cloth on his head, I guess she didn't see anything. But it should've been enough for her to identify him as a young man/teenager.

So.. it looks like this episode carries on the emotional roller coaster from the end of episode 12. Makes a lot of sense with how it ended. & its good to see that Villetta is still a big part of the story - its good that they're keeping her in the story until Jeremiah makes his return.

Looking very forward to seeing Diethard's big moment. :3

The new OP and ED were both pretty good (though I ended up liking the ED a lot more) and of course the new animation sequences for those were pretty exciting to watch.
As for the episode itself, the big thing is that Shirley now knows that Lelouch is Zero, which could mean all sorts of things happening next week...

In a way its doing a good job and leaving just about anything to happen in next weeks episode - though i'm getting the depressing feeling that the worst case could indeed happen.

I actually really liked the opening in it's direction, much better than Blood+ fourth opening which was really hideous. They did a great job with the song structure and does an overall pretty good job at foreshadowing future events, even if as Gundam Seed it reused some scenes from Colors. The song isn't that bad, not really good as most if not all anime music though, I actually don't mind Jinn's vocalist singing style.

As for the episode, I'll wait for the subbed version to comment on it, but seems to have some interesting plot developments in it.

So we only get half a new opening, like in Gundam. This show sure is making making it hard not to compare the 2. However, the opening really interests me. I wonder if something is gonna happen to Viletta. I hope not, she's cool. And they show Nina in the little jail pics plus they cut her out of the pic of all the school members. Is she gonna somehow be a thorn in Zero's side?
