Asuna's life in reality.
Yeah, it's not happy at all.
Her mom is so cold and calculated.
Doesn't care about Asuna's feelings at all.
It sucks when your life is forced to be what your parents want it to be.
The in-game fight with Yuuki was great!
Looks like another adventure is about to start.

That Yuuki vs Asuna fight animated.... it's no exaggeration when I say that it is THE BEST FIGHT IN THE SAO ANIME to date, leagues better than Kirito vs Eugene last season

That new opening was everything I was hoping for and more last episode. Very pleased to see they went all the way and finished switching it over.

Also yes, that fight scene was absolutely beautiful.

Asuna talking to her mom really brought out my inner angsty teenager, so I'm glad that the episode ended on a much more positive note.

Also Yuuki is a lot taller than I had imagined she would be. Probably a side effect of her being an Imp lol.

I was expecting Yuuki to be smaller as well. I was also a bit surprised by her voice. She sounds rather boyish to me (and I am referring to her voice here, not the fact that she's using a pronoun that's more commonly used by males to refer to herself).

Well, asuna's mom, hated her in the novel, still hate her in the anime
Following the discussion of the previous episode, see??, asuna's life is not that easy, and in some way its justified her dependency to kirito and that world

The voice given to Yuuki suited her a lot

While it amazing fight that we didn't see in SAO for a while,

Amazing fight.
I like Asuna's style better than Kirito, who just spams his 4 directional slash too often.

Asuna's mom is a real bi*ch, but she brings up some good points like how the school is just a place to keep all the troublesome ones in one spot. And she's a good representation of the regular populace who only has info that the media feeds them, and make their own self-judgements on it.

Really liked the BGM that was playing during the fight, has it been played before? Is there a track name for it yet?

That was an intense fight, well animated as well. Asuna's home life is indeed rather crummy, she's little more than a bird in a cage, though her little needle at the end of the convo to her mom definitely hit a nerve.

Well, Asuna's fight with Zekke- I mean Yuuki is so intense! Man, I like how that Berserk Healer got more attention than Kirito on Mother's Rosario.

On the other hand, Asuna's mother shouldn't raise her daughter as a gold digger as Mrs. Yuuki already is one in my opinion. No wonder Asuna's grandparents resented her mother!

Asuna's fight with Yuuki was easily the best this season. I know I'm gonna like this Asuna-focused arc.And it seems like these two will get along very well if the OP and ED mean anything.
