At this point Yoru just feels like discount Makima.

And what happened to Asa? Has she become completely unable to take control of her body? Because there's no way she's ok with all this.

i don't think this portion of the series has been very good. as you all have stated above, yoru is literally just makima 2.0

Maybe we will be surprised at what happens at the story progresses, however

Denji got tricked literally the very same week by Fumiko. That's why I said he's got worse than RAG's Kazuya.

Latest chapter shows that he's at aware he could be double crossed. If he's following along, then it's at least intentional now.

It's really hard for me to care about this manga anymore ever since it was made clear Denji is compete trash. There's nothing likable about him anymore. He's always been horny but he's been completely flanderized since Nayuta's death, and I don't have high hopes he'll redeem himself.

It's Asa. Fujimoto sometimes forgets the scar but he never forgets the eyes.

Even though she can't die, I guess she changed her appearance somehow. I'm sure there are plenty of devils who can do that for her.

So, it looks like everything she's done so far was to make Yoru and Chainsaw Man powerful enough so they can kill her. She doesn't actually want to end humanity or anything, she just wants to die.

Her being Death certainly explains why she could command primal devils.

Blame the game, not the player. The manga was always abusive towards him, it's just that Parts 2 makes it far more noticeable. Like I can't even blame him, it's natural that people at the lowest reach hands for worldly pleasures to forget about the pain even if just for a moment.

It took a while for it to sink it but Denji has finally realized Yoru is evil. I'm not sure what he can even do in his current position though. He's going to have to ally with Public Safety again if he wants to make a difference. They're pretty rotten as well, but the other options are worse.

I hope this is the legit climax. Last year, it felt the pacing became ridiculously slow when Denji was torn into different pieces and every chapter had little to no dialogue. Asa and Yoru were in the cover of the latest volume so I guess it's something like when he decided to use Makima in a cover. Still, we didn't get to the dilemma of Asa and Yoru yet. Even if the Devil is killed what will happen to the human?

I swear something is weird with the series' pacing. I can't tell what is going on in the story with a single chapter. I felt the strange feeling last years when they rebuilt Denji's body and started doing random stuff.
