That was very rude...for me is the opposite, i'm someone hate the 'kawai girls do kawaisa' but this one have soul, seems will be cliche as hell but have soul and is nice...dunno with real MLB i'll have time but the series is good and the animation is so beautiful, the girls too

It's hard to say with just one episode whether it will be as good as Taisho Yakyuu Musume, but it certainly does give off very similar vibes and I couldn't help but be reminded of that older series throughout the episode. You could almost be fooled into believing that this is an actual updated version for a more modern audience.

I can't see why you think that that comment was rude, plus I don't think that this has demonstrated that it has more "soul" than Taisho Yakyuu Musume, either. The real test for me will be how many times I re-watch the series when it's all over, as I have done many times with Taisho Yakyuu Musume.

And, yes, it started right from the get-go with clichés: the student council president who is going to hinder the establishment of the club in every way possible for no apparent reason. She definitely reminds me of the student council president in that yosakoi anime. Perhaps she will eventually end up joining the team...

Heh, all I see is a big sign that says "Please play the gacha game or we will go out of service". If the anime fails, hmm... I'll give it three more months (so 6 months counting the anime period)?
I think it will do better than Sora to Umi no Aida, at least.

Watched episode 1:

Good enough start. At least they did not go with the very tired sports trope of "one promising newbie joining a team that is losing" crap.

Hoodie girl looks like Yoshino from DAL.

Playing with the kids is a good way to familiarize the new members with the game. Just playing for fun with nothing at stake help the new members like baseball even just a little.

I like the art style and looking forward how they train Yoshino 2.0 to play baseball. XD

Nice, Yoshinon... errr.. I mean Ukita can now catch and throw better. She really enjoy the sport, a little pain from catching properly is no problem. Helped with the weeding as well.

I like how this is following the Anima Yell style of "let's just enjoy the sport" and being competitive is not really a concern.

I was on the fence about this one, but Episode 3 finally gave us some story. I have some idea of what Arihara is doing and why she's doing it, and I needed that. Let's hope they keep going with it.

The rock-paper-scissors girl looks promising.. being a complete noob, she only has to observe the ball a few times before being able to hit it, and she did not even need to ask for help.

Old rival shows up. Well, we need some form of antagonist or at least an opposite of Tsubasa, so I guess it's about time they show her.

And show how good was tsubasa too, wonder how that tournament ended... a 4 Career Deficit is almost a game over at times even at pro level, whatever happened leave a mark on Shinomome but seems she missed the point, tsubasa love the game, that seems is how she won.

Amazing comeback by Tsubasa on the tournament.

Now the team is complete. I just hope Shinonome does not put too much pressure on the weaker / less experienced members.

Arihara is the best teammate she was so positive and fun, and fitting they won with her hitting a Grand Slam
Come on Shinonome don’t be so tsundere, join the harem…
Poor Shinonome, that defense is mets level of awfulness…that is why she is so tsundere, I would be so traumatized after working with so awful defense
A shame she failed, she have all the talent or effort, but now she joined to the team, that will be fun
