Chou Kadou Girls

Choukadou Girls is getting a TV anime adaptation.

Plot/Premise
Quote:
Bouida Haruto, a hardcore otaku with no interest in 3D (real) women, once appreciated figures from afar, accepting that "if you get into them, there's no turning back." However, when Nona, a character he loved from an anime called "Girls→Planetary Investigation" had a figure of her released, he ended up purchasing it. And then that night, the figure of Nona somehow came to life, and a couple-like lifestyle between man and toy began.

I couldn't even get to the end of the first episode. Nona is quite cute, but I just couldn't stand the dude. Dropped like a hot potato before the 1st episode even finished.

I'll give the first episode this...I'm not entirely sure what is really going on. Sentient figure through high tech installed AI? Or actual alien where either coincidentally or other means they turned her life into an anime?

Either way...I did enjoy her snapping and opening fire on him . She's packing some serious firepower there.

Nona a cute... but how did this situation come about? Your average toy isn't sold with working weaponry, but an actual alien explorer's whole life shouldn't be available on BD either.

I suppose this will have to do in lieu of another season of Frame Arms Girl.

Well, that secret didn't last long.

I kind of want to watch this Planetary Explorer Girl anime now.

Ouch, she found his h-doujin collection. Keep that stuff in digital form, dude. Easier to hide.

I thought they might drag the mystery out a bit more, but guess that is that. Although I suppose it's still possible there's an alternative explanation. After all it still makes no sense that Nona would be armed with actual weaponry if she's just a figurine.

Still, moving ahead as things are. And honestly credit to Nona for managing somehow to remain sane after finding out that her existence was based on a fictional story.

Some increased mystery now as new automaton girls show up. Still no real confirmation of how or why they were made or anything else, so some possibility there. But I must admit that while I'm not a huge fan of the "hero", I do agree with him in terms of plot analysis. I too enjoy trying to figure out ways that things can be a certain way, filling in gaps and speculating. Definitely prefer it to just dissing things because of how something "shouldn't" happen.

In my opinion, the scriptwriter needs to put in the effort before he requires the fans to fill in the gaps for him.
If he leaves the hints that at least allow the viewer to realize that the scriptwriter himself is actually thinking when writing his stuff, then a bit of the non-critical unexplained stuff are forgiven. On the other hand, the "fanboys will defend him with their imagination" doesn't give him an excuse to slack off.

Nona handled being a fictional character better than Buzz Lightyear..

Did not expect Belnoa have power to drag a human into the game where she came from. Haruto is in real trouble now. xD

Nona is also beautiful with black hair.

looking forward to next week

nice, Subaru is also an otaku. And she understood the situation right away. xD

I think Subaru is the more serious rival to Nona, because Haruto really admires the karate girl.

can't wait for next week!
