I haven't had time to pick up Forza 2 yet, played the demo though. Graphics were average, but the gameplay is solid....maybe too solid :P

Also, have you seen some of the customization that people have been creating for their cars? Some crazy designs out there. The Japanese had a field day with it, made a lot of Anime inspired ones.

and a friend of mine made this nice Paper Mario car.

because forza and mass effect=mainstream titles, usually mainstream titles=good
Actually, mainstream titles usually suck.

And Bioware don't make mainstream titles, they mainstream titles - making previously underground genres more accessible, for better and worse.

Also, I've tired immensely of Japanese adventure story games (or "RPG's", as some would call them) due to how incredibly unimaginative most are and that their game design choices often seem stuck in the early 90's, but Eternal Sonata is the most beautiful game I have ever seen in my life, and it's decent fun to play, too. Might be picking it up if it crosses the A-pond.

Yeah, Modus over at GAF has some mad skills with the livery editor in Forza 2. I'm not a big MGS fan, but that design is crazy. He's thinking of doing a Zone of Enders one now

My favorite is the Jet Set Radio one(not by him), love that game to death.

and this Zelda Wind Waker one is just insane. People have some mad skills with this game

Then the all mighty Cloud(KH design)

Advent Children Cloud

as for Naruto, I'm surprised Ubisoft was actually able to get the Japanese voices. From what I saw in the video demonstration a week back, they seem to be doing one hell of a job with the game. They never cease to amaze me

Ubisoft ceases to amaze me quite regularly - they can do something awesome and then turn around and do something completely horrible ^^.

But I saw the HD presentation of the Naruto game, and it actually looked pretty decent. I guess that's what you get when a big publisher bids for a license and has one of its experienced internal development houses do it instead of the rights holder just sublicensing it to some half-assed Japanese developing house that's given 12 months to create an entirely new game - I'm looking at you, Bandai.

As for the Forza decals, how do they do that??

Should have been more specific, It's Ubisoft Montreal that never ceases to amaze me :P But you're right, as a whole, Ubisoft have been hit and miss lately.

As for Forza 2 decals, It's just best not to think about it. You would think they import the images somehow, but nope. All created from scratch in the Livery Editor. I just plan on buying those masterpieces off the Auction House and calling it a day

Please tell me that you're joking.

Is that available in the Forza 2 demo? I just have to see how that works.

And yeah, Ubisoft Montréal seems to be their highest-performing internal studio. They've gone straight up after the butchering that was R6 Lockdown. Hopefully the pre-mission planning and multiple teams will return in the next R6 now that Vegas gave them plenty of money...

lol I wish It was, but yeah, all done in the Livery Editor. The game doesn't allow you to import images. It didn't feature it in the demo sadly, so you can't test it out before hand. And R6 Lockdown never happened, it was just a really bad dream we all had.

If you want to see how it kind of works, there are a few videos on Youtube.

wow Sega listened, tears of joy flowing. Tears of joy. I can play me VF online now, finally. Time to take on the world. Funny how AM2 said it would never happen. But I guess the horrible sales of the PS3 version swayed their minds :P

Wonder how smooth they will be able to get it, but I don't care. Like I said, a piece of online is better than no online.

Also, new Lost Odyssey scans
http://www.xboxyde.com/news_4531_en.html

The game will own everything confirmed.

1 word, WOW!
I had my doubts about this game, but after seeing this, it actually looks like it's going to be great.

*cough*Lies*cough*. It looks good but it still has to compete with Mass effect and Too human.

On another note I've picked up The Darkness and Overlord, but no one wants to hear about that.

Am I the only one that has a feeling some of the screens(background) on Lost Odyssey resembles Final Fantasy VII/VIII? Looks great.

VF5 For 360.... More content then VF4 to VF5 for PS3

Anyways...All the goods

YT: It features the following 5 network modes.

1. Human vs human online battle using the VS Mode and Xbox Live.
2. Ranking of the above online battle.
3. "Score Attack" Ranking in ARCADE Mode.
4. "Clear Time" Ranking in ARCADE Mode.
5. "Clear Time" Ranking in DOJO Mode.

YT: There are so many differences, so I have listed the main updates and changes from the PS3 version:

・ Addition of Online Versus Mode
・ Addition of rank that only appears online
・ Support voice chats
・ Addition of online rankings
・ Ranking clip data (replays) can be browsed
・ More CPUs and balance adjustment in Quest Mode
・ More items to equip on the characters
・ Enhanced performance in DOJO Mode
・ Realized battles played by carrying in save data to VS Mode [the game will track your win/loss stats in versus mode, unlike the PS3 version]
・ Support controller vibration
・ Support analog stick
・ Additional recording of the commentary voice
・ Addition of commentary feature on EU version
・ Support Achievements and rich presence
・ Support downloading contents in the marketplace
・ Support Xbox 360 antaliasing

As you can see, the Xbox 360 version has so many new features that it could be considered as a completely new product.
