Well, based upon what I have deduced from the chapter raws, Ruby's Armor works similarly to an Iron Maiden torture device. While I don't know what benefits it gives to her, but at the same time it damages her body, and if Ruby isn't careful in using her magic it could result in her death.

Regarding the Moka segments, I think it was more about Ikeda putting some plot elements toward the most likely inevitable Akua vs Tsukune fight or at least that's what I think at the moment, I'm waiting for some translations to clarify that segment of the chapter.

Still, based upon what I have seen so far, I don't think that Alucard is going to awaken, since the gap in power between him and Tsukune and Moka is too high to cover in a single arc and since his awakening would mean the end of the idea of achieving peace between humans and ayashi , which is one of the main plot elements of this manga.

So, I don't see any purpose (at least, for now) that Alucard's awakening could bring to the story, apart from giving a sense of drama for the events of the current arc, which doesn't seem to work on me.

@ chris: generally I agree, though it might not hurt to remember that this is all specualtion running on the assumption that alucard is the end of the line and boss and kinda final villain - just for the lulz, what if somebody of the FT guys came up with a way to suck his power out and use it themselves? ... maybe alucard is kinda a red herring? like a freakin big one .. just something I thought today... cause the logic we always have is "no matter what happens, Alucard CANNOT awaken this arc - because than there would be no resolution possible due to difference in power - well what if he gets cannibalised and a squable ensues about who gets most of his power... just some weird thought...

Wow 2,5 chapters for 1 enemy and no mentioning of a second...

Too bad I can't read Japanese:P But the way it looked like is that the magic Rubi used this chapter is a double edged sword and does her harm over time or something.
Also It seems like Moka now knows that Tsukune and co have arrived and that Akua is either misinforming Moka or otherwise saying that they are in trouble.
Can't wait for the translation.

Certainly you have got a point there, but for the theory of stealing Alucard's power to work, we would either need a new character who would be revealed as an Shinso vampire (and be on the enemy side ) or one of the already reveled characters who is an antagonist, but hasn't revealed his true form yet, would need to be revealed to be a Shinso vampire, since from the looks of it the ability to steal another ayashi's power is something that only Shinso vampires are capable of, and I doubt it's an ability rhat can be easily reproduced since Fairy Tale would have already done something like that, rather then concentrate on trying to revive Alucard from his slumber.

slumber might prevent the transfer since Akasha is keeping him sealed? I wonder what that first divisons assholes objective is, you know... it was already made clear he has deviating goals several chaps ago, so he must want more than have him simply wake up and go on a rampage, either he has found a way to control him or to leach his powers methinks... and there might be some sigificance to him having a human sidekick, too... if Tsukune could get shinso powers via the bond with moka... wonder what would happen to mr. wheelchair if he were fed blood by a shinso? ... oh well too early to tell, but I expect some twist to be coming once we get to the akua vs tsukune part and the end of this arc...

I agree that some twists are definitively going to occur especially, once Kiria's, Hokuto's and Miyabi's (who is just playing innocent in my opinion, and actually knows what Hokurto and Kiria are doing ).

Still, I doubt that they could use Hokuto to steal Alucard's powers, since in the first place Kiria already injected his blood into Hokuto, so he can't be considered as a "pure" human anymore (Tsukune is in the same category ), and I think that a human's body can't only take the blood of a single ayashi race, and anymore then that would probably put too much strain on their bodies and Kiria's blood has been enough to seriously strain Hokuto's body as was seen during his fight against Moka and Tsukune in the first season - so, I don't think it's possible for Hokuto to receive and survive an injection from another type of ayashi and the same can be said about Tsukune, especially since the blood of an Shinso vampire is even more potent then the blood of an Outcast Ayashi.

Not to mention, a human acquiring the blood of an ayashi isn't actually stealing that ayashi's power, but rather gaining his own ayashi abilities.

Well, twists have such a nature, that you are unable to actually predict what is going to happen so we have no choice to wait and see what is going to in the next chapters.

So, going back to the chapter discussion it seems that Raika has been defeated, so I wonder who they are going to fight next, since they are still five Fairy Tale leaders ahead of them, not to mention Kahula, Akua and Gyokuro - meaning that there is still a lot of fighting ahead of us, which most likely means that it's time for the reinforcements to appear.

Ruby thinks that even at the cost of her own life, she will allow her friends to move forward and starts covering herself in what looks to be armor. However, it doesn’t work on him since he can teleport. So all in all a pretty weak chapter. Not much has happened character wise or story wise. The only good thing that came out of it is that we now know that they are capable of destroying seals and we are given a vague sort of time limit. Which probably means the group will be split up in order to be on time.
However I saw no need for this drawn out fight. It's a monthly series and long fights like this take up way to much time.

Nice chapter though in raws, i love Ruby's armor btw, and also as for Moka and Akua, i see Akua is just as crazy as ever hopefully Tsukune will knock some sense into her and as for Moka, i'm glad nothing about her has changed in the past month i was worried about Akua trying to get into her head and fill it with crap, but from the summary i'm glad nothing like that happen and going as far as to risk her life for her friends and Tsukune's sake, it's good to see things going this way, Tsukune's almost there Moka.

Thanks for the rough summary Renegade334. Well, at least now we know how Fairy Tale wants to awaken Alucard, and I'm quite certain that they will be unsuccessful in completing that objective due to Tsukune's interference and the skills that he gained during his training sessions, which most has covered a technique that allows to break barrier's (and I'm not talking about the Jigen - tou)

Still, I can't wait to see Akua's expression when things aren't going to be proceed as she thinks, and Tsukune is going to prove to be a quite difficult opponent .

Well, I have to say that the scene's of Akua and Moka in the current chapter has given me a slim hope that the less significant battles against the Fairy Tale leader's aren't going to take much time (chapter wise). After all Ruby hadn't a lot of screen time lately, so she deserved a few chapter's dedicated to her, and I can't say that about the other girls, since Kurumu had a lot of chapter's dedicated to her progress in the Moka's childhood flashback arc, and Tsukune's latest rampage incident, so I hope it's going to take 2 to 3 chapter's, before the fight between Akua and Tsukune is going to begin.

I guess of the remaining lieutenants, there is at least one that is so strong that they are forced to display some real good teamwork - and I think IcePrincess is gonna take on one solo too, and maybe Zombieboy is gonna redeem himself for loosing to Akua in jigentou by soloing another one - considering Kurumu's late development she might not get one for solo fight ...

For now the only thing that I'm certain about is that Tsukune is going to fight the least against the Fairy Tale leaders, since he needs to converse his youkai energy for his fight against Akua, so most likely he can't use it up in the fights against small fry (at least. compared to Akua ) like the Fairy Tale leaders.

Let's also not forget that reinforcements, in the form of Gin, Haiji, Kokoa and most likely Tohou Fuhai are most likely going to appear in the future chapters, and provide some distraction so that Tsukune's group can move toward - which means that Tsukune's group won't need to defeat everyone of the remaining 5 Fairy Tale leaders, and we probably won't be seeing every one of them.

Still, I agree with you haegar that Mizore will also get an one on one fight against one of the Fairy Tale leader's, since she hadn't much development in the previous arcs, about the rest of the group, well we will have to wait and see...

interestingly enough or not I read somewhere that FangFang Huang is the same as Fong Fong Wong just one is Mandarin and the other Cantonese

whether this is true or not you would have to ask someone who is fluent in either language as the characters for both would be the same I think.
