This wouldn't be a case of "bimbo Lacus". It's day and night. Saji is no genius to learn how to fly an MS, and Louise simply does not have Lacus's goddess gene in her.

The closest character that could ever come to Lacus was Relena, and even she was still a far cry from Lacus's elegant perfection.

In Gundam universe you newer know who is genius and who is not Yes, Louise and Lacus have a complete different personalities. Yes, Lacus at the beginning of SEED have great popularity and charisma, that allowed she become an influential political figure. But Louise can play not exactly same, but similar role in this story. Like the head of a war relief organization, that helps victims of CB interventions or source of financing for anti-CB organization...

That would make Saji's life even more sad and miserable if he ended up being a mobile suit pilot or some such.

I like it...but then again Setsuna is the focus of this show so far, not Saji and Louise. So working in war relief might be a setting somewhat wasted on an auxiliary character like her. Yeah...better if they gave something like that to Marina or one of the CB members.

this series is close to being the best gundam since 08th MS team IMO.

its still gundam....so
...saji will become a pilot next season (his whole character development is pointless otherwise)

...and lockon will most likely return (no cockpit explosion) prob. with a mask.

Saji is hte last person I see becoming a pilot. His devlopment is in a different area. So far all the young pilots have made sense in the series. Saji would just ruin that. Even Setsuna had 2 years training before CB went open. The only way Saji would work is if there's a big timejump. But I don't see it happening. At most I see a few months to a year. Anymore and it's just too long.

Everyone is dying is this series only 26 episodes long? Otherwise I don't see how they can have much more then 2 left. I do like how they are killing off characters because it is more realistic that they lose some battles instead of being indestructible killing machines without any possible way to lose doesn't make the show as fun to watch.

If there is one thing that bugged me about this episode: where did Alejandro pull that huge golden MA of his ? Seems way too convenient for him to have one, especially considering the last we saw him he was still on moon. I highly doubt Aeolia had one stashed away, especially considering it is equipped with the fake GN drives.


As for Saji - i don't see him becoming a pilot. All other reasons aside - from the looks of it, the object of his hatred is about to cease to exist, and with CB gone there wouldn't be anything left for him to fight. Besides, he is not Shin v2.0 - if nothing else, then for the sole fact he has more of Louise left to angst over than just her cellphone.

There's only 1 ep left, but there is a second season starting in October.

Considering it was said back before the series started airing that it was being split into 2 seasons, I'm surprised so many people still don't know this.

He kept it on his own moon asteroid base? Had to make those GN tau drives somewhere.

As for building it...well he made the Thrones, the Trinity ship, the 30 GN-Xs, and all those secret bases. Clearly he has the money and means to make a giant golden MA. 0_o

Don't think they ever showed it...

Though it IS true that the Thrones have cockpits above the GN Drive unit... So if the GN-X's are anything like the Thrones (which is likely), then Patrick is DEAD.

Dynames is in the Container that Sumeragi & co. are in. That's the reason why Feldt was there in the first place.

here's a question, whats going to happen to Felts letter? i thought it was kind of weird because my initial impression was that they were going to seal haro and the letter and jettison it off into space, keeping only the Gn drive. w/e. don't wanna think too much right now
