Your sarcasm detection is still weak, young padawan. Much to learn, you still have.

Officially, they are. They should be, considering how powerful the Moonlight Butterfly is.

But I still find it rather impractical.

Really?

Moonlight Butterfly = Nanomachines that can destroy all manmade technology
Devil Gundam Cells = Nanomachines that can take over control of organic matter and technology & can regenerate anything it has control over.

The question is, which wins over, MB's destruction or DG Cells' regeneration? Will MB destroy the DG Cells before they can regenerate, or do the DG Cells take over the MB nanos and nullify their effects before they actually, uh, destroy, along with regenerating anything that the MB nanos DID destroy?

Well, I guess we all know that LOVE can destroy the DG Cells, so I guess if you put the Turn's in the hands of someone with lots of LOVE, THEN its better than the Devil Gundam.

I read somewhere that the Turn X was made from DG cells, so if that's the case I think we have a winner?

Yeah, the rumor was that DG Cells infected Shining Gundam (which was abandoned in Ep 24 of G Gundam) and it became the Turn X (hence its Shining Finger attack)...

It IS a fact that Turn A and Turn X can regenerate lost parts, but really, who knows...

Well, if the novels of Turn A are taken in consideration I think the Turn-A is way better than the Devil Gundam.

Spoiler for Turn-A gundam novels:

Well, the Devil Gundam was actually used to rule the world (plus it took control over Neo Japan and other colonies). Of course, if you did use the DG to rule the solar system its more likely that it is using you instead...

im talking about the turns here, i dont remember any side effects from piloting them, (well may be turn x, but the pilot is a mad man to begin with ), dont get me wrong devil is very kool too, it would make anyone mad, but the turns really dawrf the devil in terms of power. if i were to compare the turns to the devil gundam, well the turns are "gods" while the devil is well "devil". God always pwns devil.

btw, i really like turn x's disassemble funnel abilities which it can use its laser canon and shinning finger at the same time, not only powerful but really kool.

At long last!

00 did suffer a steep drop in pretty much everything though. But based on its popularity relative to Seed's, I am not surprised. It just doesn't have as much staying power.

I know. I was pointing out the fact that while you said the Turns could be able to be used to take over the world/solar system/whatever, the Devil Gundam actually WAS used to take over the world/solar system (and pretty much succeeded).

And I really don't see what the Turns "dwarf" the DG in terms of power, considering some of the more absurd and outlandish stuff that DG did in its series. Sure, the Turns had some crazy powers, but they really were no match for the DG's powers in terms of "craziness".

thanks for clearing that "point", i was kinda confused of what u meant.

anyways, i dont think sunrise could top anything as powerful as the turns, or for that matter devil gundam in the future in terms of pure distructive power.

in terms of pilots, heero is still my top pick, he may not be the best, but i love his personality.

Lacus Clyne also finished as the No. 1 favorite female character of the year three out of four years (2003[/2004], 2005[/2006]-2006[/2007]) in Animedia.
Lacus Clyne has dominated annual female character popularity polls in Newtype, Animage, and Animedia like no other female character has in history.

With the notable exception of Lacus Clyne, women and girls from Gundam series almost never win annual female character popularity polls in these big three anime magazines of Japan.

Excluding Lacus, they almost never win even in Newtype.

Gundam female characters in general seem to have not much appeal to non-Gunota anime fans in Japan.

That's only because none of the 1990's Gundams were not nearly as popular as Seed was. Victory and Turn A never had a chance due to their low viewership. G's main female characters were of archtypes not popular in Japan. Wing and X were overshadowed by Eva. The fact that relatively minor characters like Four and Elpeo Ple made the list shows how wrong that statement is.

No surprise that Lacus was the most popular female in the last few years, but as shown in the recent monthly polls, she's not likely to remain there for long. Look for C.C. to take that spot soon (if she hasn't already).

EDIT: BTW, what did you mean by non-Japanese? I see quite a few Japanese names on your lists...?

More or less expected since 00 is not airing currently, and the plot's not really completed.

00 should be able to overtake Soul Eater and Macross F once season 2 airs. But dethroning Code Geass might be a little hard.

In those competitive time, I must say that SEED and its characters has done remarkably well. They deserve credit, regardless of the fact that Destiny was worse than the first CE series or not.
