Soooo I dropped it at min 15, couldnt go beyond that, plain boring for me, the mc girl is not my type and the light line of the death made it worse, it may have some ecchi scenes, but I have enough of that with other animes.
Just my opinion, there is no need to rage

Tama -> Tamako.....what a lazy renaming. Don't think this protects her true name at all.

Tama way more useful and fun than the 'main girl,' if anything, she seems like an embarrassment.

Not sure why the rats are eating the girls/other girl in ep1 got slashed when the specters are after lifeforce, why not just suck it out of them regularly? Since it seems they can do that just fine.

Whoever was the director and writer for the anime did a terrible fucking job. The pacing of the manga is perfect for an anime, yet they mix everything up and change things that don't need to be changed. Jesus what a let down I'm dropping this I was gonna give it until episode 3 like usual but this episode just cinched it.

I really enjoyed this episode. I'm liking Shimazu so far. Also liking the sneak peeks at the wider plot. The boy is a bit of a wet noodle. Hopefully he'll get better.

Wow. So many things are being rushed and omitted during this series airing. It's almost as if they're trying to get to the current arc (Judging by the opening when Shinichirou is holding and unsheathing that sword.) Not a bad episode and since I've read the original source material I can tolerate and keep track of things.

Oh yes. If anyone is interested. I'll make a manga to anime series note on what they anime has missed and what things have been switched or "redesigned" per say.

I can't wait for next week since we've finally got introduced to Suseri at the end. I wonder what possible could go wrong for Shinichirou next.

It's kind of like the people behind this series want to get it over with as fast as possible so they are speeding along and changing things as needed to accomplish that. Though they have no choice but to actually get through the allotted amount of episodes so I'm not sure what the plan is here

I think the ep 10 limit is partly to blame for rushed things, not that I know anything about the pacing since I never read the manga which I'm glad I didn't.

Where to start? Yeah, the fanservice likes to pop up at the strangest times and the transitions are rather jarring.

The blacking out on Tama's butt when she started jumping after the youma was specifically hilarious. No wait, even more hilarious was the part they fell down the hole when once again Shimazu's crotch landed on his face and Tama's head landed on his.

Not even gonna question how they got away with minor scratches from that kind of fall. If it's for the sake of some sexy time, screw logic!

As for the chars, Shinichirou becomes less meh this episode! I like his sense of tidiness, reminds me of myself. Tamako is a very sweet girl I'd love to have as a pet and Shimazu... I guess people who like Louise/Taiga kind of toxic characters will like her. At least she's got a nice body, I give her that.

Wow, I didn't see such trainwreck adaptation from Ars Nova. Pretty much everything is rearanged in way to make least sense possible, Exposition accidentaly done right before it matter and not even mentioned fact that Shinichirou and Sakuya kissed in first episode already created huge plot hole.

This anime is already misrable on it's own and reading manga in same time makes it even worse

OK, this episode was an improvement. Though really ANYTHING would be an improvement over episode 1. This one at least had a number of the key points from the start of the manga, to the point that I feel like this is almost better as a first ep. All you'd need to do is throw away the majority of ep1, find somewhere to put the remainder in ep2 and you've got a very good first episode for this series.

That said, some things still are a little jarring, and I have real problems with the most obvious addition: in the manga, when specters drain someone's life force they do NOT pleasure their victims in return. Draining life is just that, draining out a person's vitality and energy. There is no context or reason to add in this crap about "greatest pleasure" except that some idiot executive thought that the show would get better viewership if every episode had girls screaming in near-orgasmic ecstasy. And then they put it in the worst imaginable spot. I didn't think you could come up with something worse than a bunch of high school girls getting the flesh gnawed off their bones bit by bite, until I heard them moaning and begging for more.
