Oh wow had no idea about this.
Going by the trailer I think it will be pretty good, seems they will leave out the sappy love romance and gone back to basics with the story, in more than 1 way I like this idea of time travel, very fitting with the series. Should be a good laugh.

It’s a wonder how some franchises like Nightmare on Elm Street, Jurassic Park, MIB and Transformers go down the similar path. They make great first movies then absolutely ruined the franchises with the second movies then tried to make it up with the third movies.

However, if the studio actually did NOT try to crank out a sequel fast but instead took their time, the sequel of a film can be pretty good.

The 2nd film came out 5 years after the first film, I think that's plenty of time to have made a decent sequel considering the first movie only took a year to film. Tommy Lee Jones didn't sign on he first film until late because he didn't like the script and Spielberg had to promise him that it would get better for him to agree. And even during shooting he would ad-lib on the spot and Will Smith was forced to improvise during shooting, making the movie even better. They kinda lost that on MIBII when they tried to focus on Rosario Dawson's character and romance.
When I saw the trailer for the sequel, and even at 12 years old I knew that it was going to be bad. I don't get that vibe from this one. I hope it's good, the original is one of my favorites movies of all-time. |

I think I liked this the most out of all three, then again I don't remember much of the first.
Very cool, I'd say--though I guess the villain was disappointing...I would've preferred if he stayed in his alien form.

The MIB3 is easily better than MIB2 thanx to Josh Brolin's spot on impersonation of Tommy Lee Jones. Now, if Sony wants to make more MIB movies after this, here's an advice to the execs: makes it about a new pair of MIB agents. "Regeneration alarm" is already rang when you see those old Will & Tommy on screen .
