Uchouten Kazoku gets an anime.
This looks interesting for many reasons. P.A. Works doing an acclaimed novel by Morimi Tomihiko (Tatami Galaxy) for starters, plus an excellent cast including Nakahara Mai playing a boy. And the director is a promising rookie, Yoshihara Masayuki, who's worked on some high-quality material.

So, has anyone posted about this yet? (Here's the Mainichi article.)
Kawamori Shouji's new "multidimensional" project with Satelight, "The Fool." It's multidimensional because apparently it's going to mix various media such as live action, animation, novels, etc. It's sci-fi and it features historical people such as Oda Nobunaga, Leonardo da Vinci, Jeanne d'Arc, etc. The title of the first episode is "Nobunaga the Fool" - a character drama fusing eastern and western history, a historical sci-fi live entertainment with fight scenes we've never seen before. Apparently it's going to be robot battles with Oda Nobunaga & other historical people on a planet where eastern type and western type worlds are at war with each other. Character designs by Kazuki Yone (yay!). It's set to be released this winter. Official site, currently featuring info and Kazuki Yone's art for Nobunaga the Fool: http://the-fool-project.jp/ So apparently Kawamori didn't use up all the "good stuff" in Aquarion Evol... xD This is something I would've imagined good old Gonzo doing. Spring 2013 Anime Previews: staff, cast, story, trailer, pic, etc.
"This is the season of science fiction. There are seven shows with something sci-fi about them, from a remake of the Space Battleship Yamato series to three mecha shows to a kids' show and a harem romance. But in this well-populated spring season, we have other genres, too: action fantasy, ecchi comedy, psychological drama, reverse harem.... Here are brief descriptions of 20 shows of interest, followed by full details on all 42 shows:" See: http://hashihime.blogspot.com/2013/0...taff-cast.html |

It's a tease. The Chu2koi twitter said this with the image:
再放送の告知だけで新しい映像と新しい六花のイラストは作らないよ!?つまり…契約更新ってことです!詳細 は待っててくださいね! (Do we make a new illustration just for a rebroacast? The contract continues, please wait for more information!)
