I've been checking the comments at Random curiousity and it pretty much mirrors here. Sheryl shippers are WTF'ing... Same with Ranka shippers. WIN/WIN... Kawamori is having his 'Just as planned' moment.

Enough loose ends were left up for a movie to hopefully address. Then again this is perfect fan fic fodder.

The non resolution to the LT does make sense if Alto's first love is the sky. Both girls are integral 'wings'.

I want to see more about Ranshe and Mao.

If a Ranka shipper like Wolfboy can agree with me that the triangle has been pretty much onesided, I dont know why a neutral shipper like you cant see it? Unless of course you're a closet ranka fan?

My favorite single moment was the salute. And, yes, it was between Alto and Sheryl. There were plenty of moments for Ranka/Alto shippers this ep, so be content with those and leave me the most blatant parallel between my second favorite het ship ever.

Ranka shippers are trying to play down the salute like crazy. But the parallel to Misa/Hikaru is just way too obvious to ignore. Oh well, they can console themselves with the fact that technically Alto did not choose anyone so we have this ambiguous ending...

I want the movie to be a continuation story, but I have a feeling it won't be. Damnit, I'd like Brera to be more fully developed.

Can't add anything more. The interpretation of Ranka scenes is left open though. Not many can do it without shiping goggles. It's not that hard without them.

They barely developed anything romantic with Ranka, other than maybe Alto starting to fall for Ranka in the first 3 episodes before interacting with Sheryl. Cause it would've been the predictable and default outcome. And if it ended with RankaXAlto, that would've been the real cop-out with almost nothing leading up to it. So what's the only other option? Somebody hasn't watched Kimagure Orange Road, or Maison Ikkoku, or Full Metal Panic. They had 'love triangles' but they were never true love triangles if the audience paid any attention at all. Not all love triangles are ever truly equal.

They introduced too many unanswered questions and plot seeds at the end for it not to be a continuation.

It's not "Macross Frontier the Movie coming soon" or "Macross Frontier the Movie in production!" but "Macross Frontier the Movie begins" (right where Macross Frontier the TV series ends).

Well thats the positive side of being neutral shipper, he can blow on any camp anytime he want, at first he was blowing at ranka's camp with his "the triangle is over" and now he said something else to sheryl's camp..

Yes and the commercial is placed right at the very end of the episode. It yells at the viewer - "Like hell it'll end here. We'll get your money if you like it or not."

i really don't care who gets the girl/boy for as long as i have enjoyed all 25 episodes!
