This mangas quite good if you're looking for a comedy/romance. Just a warning though, there is some nudity.

I haven't read past the scanlations but after reading up on some of the events that took place, it seems pretty mild, but I guess I''ll have to wait for the scans.

It's borderline NTR if ask you me, but I've seen alot worse...

All he did was see him kiss her and then he bolts and bangs the other girl. Granted Ruka didn't react like she should have, but I think Gramps was a little quick on the draw.

Then we get two volumes of both lying to themselves and Ruka almost sleeping with the guy in volume 6 I think it was before she realizes just how much she loves Gramps. Like you said though Gramps breaks things off in volume 7 and looks like they'll move toward bringing Ruka and him back together in the next volume, maybe. I like the twins better though...

Oh, god. Not again. First in Chisa x Pon, there's the whole rape thing and now we have Grandpa, a character who I've seen as fairly down-to-earth, doing the most asinine thing just because he saw a kiss. The author is definitely someone who forces his drama by using sex, even if it means ruining the characters image in the process. I refuse to read Chisa x Pon and now I'm going to be very wary of this. Sounds like the forced drama in it makes KNIM look mild. And to me, it's not the girl who's dead, it's the guy.

The girl is just as bad if you ask me. She lead the guy on and then instantly goes into the arms of the other guy. It was her who started the whole shit, yes the guy overreacted, but come on the girl didnt look like she liked him all that much and looked more like liking the other guy, how wouldnt he be dissapointed?

I mean if you see your girlfriend being happy around her ex, kissing and then not slapping or complaining about the kiss, but instead smiling happily, what would you think?

Yes he should have confronted her about it, but she herself shouldnt have kept silent about it either. I mean the guy did ask about her past once but she didnt clear things up for him.

And as far as i know technically the guy didnt cheat on her as such.

In any case this author seems to like NTR, or borderline Netorare, so those who dont like that shit, shouldnt read the authors works.

I am of the opinion that what Komai did was a realistic response to the situation, considering his feelings regarding the whole situation.

For me, her calm reaction to the forced kiss was...well, the one thing that could have killed off all misunderstanding had she reacted with disgust.

Gramps is in emo mode while Shimazu decides to take off on a trip. Ruka enjoys her closeness with Gramps in the elevator and doesn't smell perfume on him anymore, but hasn't made the connection yet. I'd say she'll have to make the move before Gramps does if they want to try any sort of relationship. Oh and the damn mooch decides to take off on another trip again. Good riddance if you ask me...

There was no rape. He had her tied at first but found e could not force himself on her so he released her. She however gave hir virginity for him on her own will and willing cheated on the main guy. There was no rape. She did it on her own (how ironic is that she made her boyfriend wait and then had sex with pretty much a stranger - Chisa was total bitch and shouldnt have been forgiven this easily.

So why exactly did Shimazu meet Tsucchi at the airport with Grandpa and his brother, to push Grandpa to Ruka. She gave her reasons at the end of the chapter, I still don't buy it. Tsucchi did apologize to Grandpa and all but the guy is still a Grade A douche. And then leaving with Grandpas ex girlfriend to boot without any explanation from both of them. Don't think any man can forgive and forget that.

Also I wanted to punch grandpa in the face after what he said. It's getting clear now that this is a will they or won't they thing, I think they won't get together until the very end of the manga.

Okay, it seems that the serialization of Hetakoi is finally over in Japan, however the 10 and last volume is still to be published. Actually the series finished in 2011.

There is actually a bunch of info about vol 9 available now, but I haven't gotten around to read it yet.

I read that this one has another spin-off similar to Katakoi called Irokoi, which has I'm not sure if 2 or 3 chapters and is also over.



..... Of course, this doesn't mean that magically a scanlation team is going to pic this one up, after Hobo-1's heroic withdrawal from the scanlation scene.
