Emm actually you can, Azazoth NEVER does anything because doing something is like wishing away the multiverse.

And Nya is evidently just enjoying the show, and if this novel is like a Shin Megami Tensei game Nya is playing Lucifer here, which means front line seats enjoyment watch+probably trolling the Law side (which is exactly what he did last volume)

Maybe testing boss or something like Lucifer in SMT 3.

Then you think dropping mention of him(?) without elaborating who and what he is sounds like a better idea? Remember that not everyone read Lovecraft works. If author will leave it like this then it will bring confusion for readers.

He can enjoy whatever he wants, but he was introduced, was set up as a chessmaster than I expect him to play his role to the end.

While the cover does indeed give the last vol vibes, it could also be a the ending of an arc. Remember, it is author of Rakudai, so perhaps, it would be handled like how v9 was the end of the tournament arc/beginning of the next arc, or something like that.

come to thinks of it, Vol 4 is over 1 year apart from vol 3 isn't it. Do anyone here have the sales ??? if the sales aren't too bad, i think the editor would intervened.

I'm pretty sure it is the final volume. There have been few LN series that their final volume was released like a year or more after the previous volume or about to. I think the author had planned on ending Antihero at Vol 4. It could explain why he started a new series after writing Antihero Vol 3. The reason why it took so long for Antihero Vol 4 to be released was probably because it wasn't easy to write 3 ongoing series even if one of them only had one volume left. Antihero was never popular as it never made Oricon weekly sales ranking so maybe that's why the author decided to end it.

The cover for volume 4 does give off the feeling that it will be the finale. Volume 3 did sort of have a prelude to the end vibe. I guess if the author ran out of ideas and doesn't want to continue this, next volume may be the last.

Still it would be weird, considering that the there would likely be no closure on the war with demons, just the fact that the law side route has been locked out.

Just read the synopsis for vol 4. It's written there that this is the final battle. Guess this is the last volume.

Nuuuuuu but I kinda say it coming. :P I mean there is only so much to expand on. :P Well...I predicted 2 more volumes. One "final battle" in "Japan" with the ending on him in the demon world starting his journey. Or One with the angels and one in the demon realm. It could become interesting/ drag on from there though.

If this is gonna be the end, I guess that means Homura will use the angels plan using human souls to seal of the demon world against them, i.e. he'll use the angels' souls(or something comparable) to do this.

In SMT terms he will probably screw both sides up and go Neutral Route.

^Best route generally imo. Both story and gameplay, since you get to fight the most bosses, sometimes even with a handicap attached.

Except True Chaos Ending in Devil Survivor (9th Day) Specially if you are STILL Humanity's Ally.

Being in the Chaos route never felt so good.

I wanted to play that game, sadly have no 3ds...

But I like how the protags of 1 and 2 seem to naturally be at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Kinda like Ikki and Homura.
