Isekai Yakkyoku (Parallel World Pharmacy)
Oh look - it's another isekai LN adaptation! Is that the sun I see rising in the east?
https://isekai-yakkyoku.jp/ This one at least doesn't look too aggressively soul-draining in terms of premise.

It's one of those "isekai world-improvement" titles, but with a more serious angle towards medicine and healthcare (author's a pharmacist or medical-related other iirc). It's also low-fantasy in that magic exists, but the world is humans only (no animal-eared people, elves, or other) and it takes place in a country resembling 17th century imperial France. Both the web and light novels are still ongoing, so let's see how much content it can cover. https://mfbooks.jp/product/pharmacy/ |

So, Crunchyroll is doing its Subs.
One thing i am not sure about the Crunchyroll Subs is that, the Setting of the Isekai is based on French nobility, and as far as i have looked, there is no position of "Archduke" under French Nobility system (Muse Asia instead used "Noble Baron")

And Crunchyroll is using "Farma". Not sure who is using "Pharma" As for the Series type. Its supposed to be similar to Realist Hero, though for medical aspect.

I don't think those two works have anything in common. Realist Mc fixes everything and teaches farmers how to farm and forest elves how live in forest, while Farma just doing medicine grassroot style, which takes lot of time and effort and is actually somewhat semi-realistic.

As for, "Falma, Farma, and Pharma". Well, there is only a slight minor difference in the Katakana, that's all. Falma/Farma would be "ファルマ", while "Pharma" is "ファーマ" (from "pharmaceutical" in Katakana, ファーマスーティカル). Quote:

The MC of this Series also does that, but only for Medical aspect. As for why this Series is "semi-realistic", well that's because the Author is from Medical background and had taken consultation from a active Doctor for the plot of the Series.

Still nope? I mean sure both characters do something, but they do different thing, in different way, using different means in different timeframe. And as you yourself said author of PWP actually did research, which also completely different from Realist. bookworm would be closer.

I guess this is another case where the isekai character is overriding the personality of the person who used to live in that body. Rough break for that kid. Hit by lighting, effectively dead, and no one will ever miss him because someone else is living his life...
Good break for the other guy though. Works himself into the grave, but he's got a second chance at life. Plus magic! Not bad.

Yeah, that bothered me more than I would think. The former occupant of the body just getting fried out literally and the other guy just hopping in and taking over his life. Yeesh.
At least with Ascendance of a Bookworm the former Myne would have died anyway from her fever or shortly thereafter if she had miraculously recovered, i.e. she was on a trajectory for an early death for a long time. This was just "bzatttt, you're gone and your life has been captured by some other dude, kthxBYE!". Also very convenient for our protagonist to reincarnate into a super wealthy medical family. Myne at least had to fight for everything she has achieved. This guy has just been given a huge headstart and OP hax powers to boot. So, not sure if I'll stick with the series. One more episode, I guess, to find out.
