Seems like the rosters for Empire and Dwarves are out. Karl's trait sounds too tempting not to pick on first play.

So far I love the concept of double-layers. There's always been this issue with walls in Total War games. Hopefully this will finally lead to some fix for it. Regarding their choice of making the siege map smaller and only leaving 2 options of attack does seem meh. But if it helps the AI know what to do and respond better that's fine by me.
Just saw a couple of youtubers reveal siege battles in their 30 mins of record time. The siege battles feel like a certain Warhammer: Mark of Chaos mission where you had to defend from Empire soldiers as Chaos.

Wonderful news has just arrived. They will have modding support for Warhammer Total War. They are also going to address Regional Occupation and Legendary Lord starting positions with developer-supported mods.

A shame you can't play all the factions at once. I think 4 is too little to start with, but can't blame CA to continue what they've always done with new/more factions in terms of DLC in order to make money. I'll probably get the game, but I'll probably wait a bit, maybe this will be part of the usual steam summer sale for like 10 or 15% off if we're lucky . I'm pretty disappointed in the graphics though. Atilla was really good and detailed and bloody/gorey. I guess they had to focus more on make tons of different units that actually look different from one another for each faction (instead of copying and pasting and changing the color or the weapon lol) but sacrifice on close up details. It also looks a bit more cartoony, but it kind has to be because of all the colors for each faction. Don't get me wrong, the graphics overall are good, but not impressive IMO as compared to the jump from Rome 2 to Atilla.
