Bandai announced some Yamato 2205 model kits recently.

The second one, the Hyuga, seems to have its two forward turrets lower into the hull that the original Dreadnoughts. On closer examination, the first turret's top can be seen before the second turrets barrels. It also has an escort sized twin turret on the lower side hull under the hanger decks.
Asuka seems to be a lighter modification to a Dreadnought into a support ship. Hyuga is a heavily modified Dtreadnought into a actual carrier. Hyuga seems to be Sanada's ship It is guessed that Asuka may be Yuki Mori's ship. While Kodai uses Yamato to train up a new crew.

I see at least two types of Bolar ship there. One looks like it has Soviet style missile racks on the sides.
But the music is definitely Dark Nebula's theme. So my guess is we are seeing Dessler's push into Bolar space to liberate the planet Galman for his people to resettle on. This is where all the Bolar stuff is and some of the fighting. That later we get the Dark Nebula Empire attacking Gamilas, with Dessler having to rush home to help, calling for Yamato once the situation becomes clear. Yamato is off during training drills. Its possible that Hyuga and Asuka were sent off to Iscandar or something first, and Yamato is called in afterwards.

the International Space Battleships needed a more screentime like Arizona Bismarck Prince of Wales and Novik since they appeared on the Original Season 3 while they had a original script been focus of the Space Battleship Arizona when they finding a planet for humanity only got attacked but the Arizona been didnt give up without a fight and been getting a blaze of glory against the bolars before Arizona was destroyed.

Well they are adding at least two more females to Yamato's crew.
And Hilde has grown up. Though I have a bit of forbodding when it comes to her and some of the other Gamilas characters. I got a bad feeling that some of them aren't going to make it.

Dark Nebula Empire would been having a hard time on dealing the Gamilas Astro Fleet before they set up shop and harvesting energy on Gamilas and Iscandar unlike the original the Dark Nebula Empire got a easy take over on Gamilas and set up shop for harvesting energy.

I wonder if they will pull the sort of tactics the Dark Nebula used against Earth in Be Forever, Yamato , is this version on Gamilas? Sending in a hyperion bomb first that can kill off life of the ships or bases it passes, than do a drive at the planet to bore into it. Drop in invasion troops, fighters, and tanks to back up the bomb. Than send in the main fleet to back it up once the Gamilas defenses are focused on the bomb and any support forces that might come in with it.
Only sending in Gorba when thing go poorly. Or just blow the bomb after it settles to kill off the remaining population, than send in the mining groups to harvest the planet.

Ithekro i think the Dark Nebula are Tripod Tanks yeah i can imagine on the Dark Nebulan Empire been occupied Gamilas like in Be Forever, Yamato when the leaders of Earth Federation been wanted to talk where is the Space Battleship Yamato looks like either Hyss or Gul Dietz would blew themselves up to buy time to escape the Gamilas Leaderships and Melda like how Mamoru blew himself up saving Heikuro Todo from getting executed.
