I'm really looking forward to this! Great news indeed. The series felt really cinematic, so a movie kind of suits it. I love that scene in the first chapter (6) of volume 2, when it lifts to show you what's under them in the water. Very stunning visually, and a great set piece, can't wait for the film.

Woah, that trailer looks great! I haven't read the manga, so I don't know if a movie can do it justice; but I am glad to see a movie getting released. It's nice with some variety from just series/ovas.

uh, to me, by just looking at the trailer, why does it REMINDS me a lot of Blue Gender?
well, its also about people who got an incureable disease & forced to cryogenics until they woke up, then shockingly finding themselves in a future world now filled with monsters, but minus the Starship Troopers-ish giant Insects along with its power armour-like Mechas

Um...
I hate to Necro-post and all. But... I was looking at my list of unaired anime, and Ibara no Ou was on my list. Anyone know what happened to it? or did it already aired (or movied) The only thing I found out is that it's scheduled for 2010... I couldn't find any month or day. Nor could I find any info on this title on any of the search engine or anime source sites. Except for AnimeNewsNetwork... but on there it says it was aired in 2009. But all other sources says 2010... So I am confused here. Did this title already aired or didn't? or what happened to it? |
