Naruto Universe Makes no Bloody Sense.

People please, we watch Naruto for entertainment and pleasure. Who the hell cares about the world/universe making sense. As long as each episodes leaves you satisfied and/or wanting more, the anime has done its job quite well.

When you wathc Naruto, quit thinking so much -_-; Only conclusion I came up with after watching the anime and reading the manga is that Tsunade has "big knockers" as you put it.

if u didnt realize till the chuunin exam, ur a bit slow and u shouldnt be talking. They showed signs of this universe being "unique" a while ago, by using walky talky kind of stuff.

Not only that, there were modern paint cans, a bloody magazine store and flak jackets just in the first episodes.

You're half right. It makes perfect sense to me. The system of government is feudal, just not Japan. Why is it feudal? Because there are feudal lords! The Chuunin exam specifically states that the guests were feudal lords. More importantly there is an extremely good reason why there aren't any guns or mass-produced weaponry. Shinobi villages create localized warfare, and therefore limit it only to the highly skilled. This creates a situation where civilian casualties are practically zero outside of the hidden villages. The introduction of guns will reverse this 'cause it doesn't take a lot of skill to shoot a gun, and it will shift the warfare to normal people and casualties will be significantly higher. This is exactly what happened during the Industrial Revolution in our own little world.

Most likely gun technology is suppressed or even at some point in history used then discarded for being too destructive. This could explain why only certain useful technology exists.

I do well understand the story is set in a feudal world, but mass production cannot be
in existance if you dont have centralised government!

...think of it as a modern day parallel world without gunpowder.

the technology here wouldnt be possible without it.

yea, i'd have to agree with Raikage here, nothing will make sence
if you refer to them as ancient ninjas, even the fact that they are ninjas.
Ninjas don't wear flashy clothes and publish adult novels.
Better to think of them as half-baked mercinaries with magical powers
that pretend to be ninjas, but are too stupid to buy guns.

lol, I guess you're right, but you might as well look at it this way,
if only for the sake of sanity. Shinobi represent military power in this
fictional world. It's been this way a long time. So let's say some where
along the line BOB our friendly parallel universe inventor somehow figures
out combustion. It thrives in those areas where it can. HOWEVER,
in order for guns to thrive and become their modern selves
(automatic weapons and what not, remember the first guns where heavy, slow,
one shot arkebuses) they have to be effective, which they aren't against
ninja, too slow, too heavy, too loud. So ballistics never moves beyond
thrown objects, gun weaponry is never developed, neither is heavy missle
weaponry. Ninja prevail and are not mowed down by handheld uzis.
Meanwhile Thomas Edi-san discovers electricity and some guy invents the
first telecomunication devices, your mental health is secured,
the naruto wolrd makes perfect sense.

Indeed. Now that that is sorted out, back to the manga..

Honestly, I don't know why you should care. It's just a story, forget about it and just enjoy it.
