The teasing about Orga's thoughts for women made me lol a bit this episode. Who knows though? Maybe he'll grow to like Merribit in a way later.
Interesting to see the background story about Akihiro and Atra this episode. I wonder if we will see more of these flashbacks with some of the other prominent Tekkadan members. Action starting to pick up again~ Oh I forgot, Atra's imagination is priceless!

Nice episode and all with some good interactions...but really? Another talking or "character development" episode? That is like 3 in a row now. I was expecting some actions and it was all a red herring as the actual combat (if you can call that) was all 1 minute. The battle next episode better be worth it, and no 2 or 3 talking episodes between battle episodes. Is the series running low budget or what
Oh and Akihiro's brother surely will be an enemy pilot, or even the pilot of Gundam Gusion. Looks like Brewers is a group who use human debris as pilot? Time to brainwash them and obtain Gundam Gusion while they are at it too

Atra, your imagination is gonna ruin you someday like that. Granted, it's a very interesting and hilarious imagination
Getting background on Akihiro and Atra makes for nice bits of characterization, though likewise I'm also getting a feeling that Akihiro's brother Masahiro is gonna play some role in the future, perhaps even next episode. Mikazuki performing yet another dynamic entrance to save the day at the end, I imagine the next episode will shed light on how he got there so fast, likely through the use of the Kutan booster.

Yay we finally got some action!
Well, it would be nice if it came 10 minutes sooner no matter how great tsundere Orga makes. Just hope Akihiro and his brother will not end killing each other. And yeah Atra go for it. If you do it well you have chance!

Oh yeah, forgot to add my impression of the episode:
Another good character-exploration episode. And it’s a nice timing to delve directly into characters’ pasts during a calm journey. Talk about past, Akihiro’s past is a bit too elaborate to be waved as a one-off issue. His little brother will surely come back to him in some capacity to provide him with a new interpersonal conflict now that his issue with “slavery” is practically solved. It’s nice that Kudelia finally (kinda) being accepted as a family considering her ironic situation where she can’t even trust her parents to keep her alive but able to find sanctuary among orphaned kids and Fumitan (for now). Orga’s reluctance to Merribit’s presence is cute. I’m not a shipper, so I don’t ship them (or anybody for that matter) but I like to see where their “relationship” will develop from here on out especially considering the previous episode blatantly stated that there's a mole working for Gjallarhorn to get Tekkadan (the suspicion is now a tie between Fumi & Meri). Some little notes:

Make it happen
Wow, alot less action than I expected this episode ...Were those brats really talking about who was sexier? Ok these kids are normal. Or at the very least the presence of the ladies is really starting to change things So we dumped Mika this episode for other characters to get some more fleshing out, goodie Atra's and Akihiro's backstory.....awwwwwww ;_; Soooo any bets Gundam Gusion's pilot will be Akihiro's brother? I see 1 or two above whos already thinking the same. Hope so, so we either get a tragic scene or a new Gundam joining the crew Last of all, the enemy pirate captain is a SUPPPAAAHHH PPIRRATTTOOOOOOOOOO .......just kidding.....I hope But at least we are getting Gundam Gusion Last edited by Skye629; 2015-12-06 at 07:41. |

Atra wants Mika for herself but she also ships Mika and Kudelia so she goes for the Sanpi solution. Atra you aren't even sure Kudelia is in love with Mika... The guy who tagged along with Akihiro is waving death flags but Mika stopped it. Akihiro's bro is either with space pirates or he is Ein. Orga is on guard with the new chick. Good. Fumitan could go either way. Last edited by ReddyRedWolf; 2015-12-06 at 08:03. |

Interestingly enough Atra's vision reflects well the kind of influences she received about relationships.
As for Atra working in a bordello yet never as a prostitute that's way too lucky to be that simple. Degenerate scum exist but either the house she worked in had standards or that somebody explicitly protected her. Given how hostile the rest were her protector possibly died or otherwise were gone by the time of the flashback so perhaps there's more to her story than we're allowed to peek in. Of course this assumes the writers actually thought things this far which is not always given. And Mikazuki doesn't deserve to be loved by her, wut? Since when relationships are something we truly earn? Most of the time it's something far more simpler than that. You may fight for love or to earn somebody's respect but generally connections are made naturally by interacting with each other. |

Nah, Ein's eyebrows aren't thick enough to be space-Guts' (Akihiro's) little-bro.

Nice episode. The other characters had been fleshed out and character developments are present for other minor characters. I liked it that they gave time for them too develop too. Especially Akihiko though why do I feel death flags for him. I already thought that he would die by the end of the episode by Mika saves the day.
