Well, this is possibly the worst possible test for Bakugo. Maybe Kirishima and Denki can keep him from yelling at too many people? ...yeah, probably not.
So now they've got to rescue people. At least the "victims" are telling them what they're doing wrong. And aw, Uraraka is so cute when she's in love. Even if everyone has more important things to focus on at the moment. But there's a "special" episode next week? Dang, I wonder why the interruption in the middle of this arc? Well, guess its better than a clip show, but still. |

If not for the fact battling villains is also part of the test, Bakugou would have stood no chance of passing.
But yeah, what's up with them airing a special filler episode next week right in the middle of the arc? It makes no sense to me.

In fact most shows apparently don’t air st all, and BnHA specially decided to make an episode to support the event. So way cool all around - not that it will stop fans from screaming about the betrayal of airing original content.

Considering how open they were about it being anime-original anyways, kind of wish they just put the context into the preview. Of course people are going to think "oh god are we doing Bleach style filler" without anything else to go on.
Anyways nice enough that they are doing it. Although it is still too bad we're essentially taking a week off from the current arc. But that was going to happen regardless due to the timing. It was just between no episode and this anime-original one. And something (so long as it's good) is better than nothing. And they can more or less make it fit anyways.

Ah, so that's the reason, thanks for the answer. I was afraid they had to throw in an extra episode to make for a full season or it was just a movie tie-in or something. Its too bad about the timing (in between last week's episode and this one would be a bit preferable) but nice to see them supporting charity.

Demanding everyone pass a hero exam in order to use their powers for totally civilian employment would be stupid.

Reading these last few posts, I suppose this episode isn't as pointless as I thought. It's still pointless to me personally, but at least there is a reason for it.
By the way, I don't really believe you need a hero license just to work. If that were true, literally every child in the world would have to enroll in the hero school and follow hero training just to do mundane work that their quirk just happens to be useful for. If we apply occam's razor here, we can assume that there are other types of licenses. |

The episode was pretty fun. I was afraid it might be a bit cheesy with a theme like "loves saves the Earth", but they went for comedy and the result was nice. The conclusion was really funny.
Midnight is a damn good actress by the way.
