It will be the latter. I actually could see hero leaving the princess at the demon castle, walk home, tell king everything gonna be fine and a couple days later the demons come with the princess and a peace treaty and beg the king to take his spoiled sleep-obsessed daughter back. xD

she stole his air conditioner! right in front of him too. Priest Demon needs to do something about princesses moral character or she's going to end up going int he wrong direction in life.

omg new chapter is out and really the princess is totally sabbotage the "hero" advance to her rescue, she is stealing/destroying all the itens which where supposed to be used by the hero, poor hero-sama he will be doomed to never save her and the worst is which actually the demon king want him to sucess he want the hero to come for then to have a "epic battle" but "princess" is sabbotage his "dream"(remembering the chapter where we see his big dream with the hero being destroyed by the princess", someone must stop that "evil demon" called princess, or serious if she joins a "adventure party" she can be the most amazing "thief" of all fantasy realms her skills are in a epic level, serious she is too epic!!!.

lol. Oh God that was hilarious.
All those items meant to help the Hero ends being used by the princess to clean her laundry.
The Demon King should just assign Miss Harpy or the other female demons to mind the princess before she kills or steals something else.

i honesty would like to see one chapter focused on the "hero" and he "failling a lot due to the prince like showing he try to find a path and find a monster and get beat, looking for a item them the item or is missing or broken and in the end the hero blaming the demon king something like:
- this place is so dangerous i never think which this could be so hard, i ended meeting a lot of "impossible monsters" and net get any power up, where all the magical itens??? it's the demon king breaking them all? ..."demon king", our freaking monster you are playing with me no???, you really a dangerous monster you really know how to make things impossible i never think which he could be so smart and dangerous like that... but i promisse which for the sake of the world i will save the princess no matter of what you put against me demon king i swear!!!!!

then a panel showing not the demon but the princess face sneezing
then one last panel showing the princess and say "his true nemesis and the one putting in on all misery is the princess he is trying to rescue.

could be really fun something like that.

the hero true enemie is exactly the person which he is trying to rescue.

I think one Akatsuki finally get into castle, poor Maou will get curbstomped. Hero get huge amount levels by beating monsters he wasn't even supposed able scratch, where Demon king will be neurotic madman shouting something about "true monster"...

well it's will take a little time since he still losing from that monster for now, when he start to be able to wins over then without any help(magical item, weakness or any thing which the princess can sabotage), or he just gonna ending forever lost in the maze trying to find the castle until a point where the demon king must send a "army to rescue" the hero, lol, the ammount of potential things which can happen due to the "princess" is really a nightmare, so far she is really a dangerous and wild card, she is really what peoples can see as one "terrible/dangerous damsel in distress" and the more i look to it the better could be just for the hero to leave his jorney go back to the kingdom and like someone told just say to the king to wait and everything will be fine or maybe a "new demon queen" will rise to turn the world in a huge "futon"/bed for her to happy sleep forever

, that is what i could call a really awesome reason to conquest the world

i guess in the end the hero's greatest enemy isn't the demon king, but the princess. The poor bubble demon got done in. Princess was sleeping in the middle of all of that carnage when the demon bosses walked in and she wasn't giving a single damn about it.

They need to seal the princess. Perhaps with some eternal sleep curse only the hero can break by kissing her. Would certainly save the demons some pain and nerves and some trauma they keep getting by the savage sleep crazy princess. xD
