How odd that I once imagined an AU unvolving Umidori as the new girl trying to act tough in a school. Then she meets the shadowy guardian and the violent gopher of the school, Kamijou and Hamazura respectively. And then life just goes downhill for all of them from there.

Then add WORST trying to seduce her.

I hope Rikou kills Sakurai as he's now starting to piss me off. (Though i prefer Touma beating the crap outta him since Sakurai will go nuts wondering why his powers won't work on him)

Whatever Kurou is planning, it won't work now that Touma is here.

Choices on what made the (in)famous Mr. Kyon's ovaries tingle:
A: The crack pairings involving Fem!Aleister, Fem!Aiwass, Fem!FiammaOfTheRight, and Fem!Gabriel.... Yeah, I seem to like genderbending a bit too much. I discovered it when I saw Fem!Sasuke on Naruto fics.
B: The whole Time Looping idea, with my crack/serious ideas being shot out faster than a Kalashnikov.
C: The snippet involving Catgirl!Kanzaki and the possible spoilers I gave. Also, NYANASEN!!!!!
D: I finally snapped and joined everyone in the cracky chaos.
E: All of the above.

By the way, I'd really like the King of Crack's input on the snippet for Catgirl!Kanzaki.

...A bit late to the party, am I? Anyway, another snippet, but another idea in mind. I'll work on this oneshot for a while, since I hit writer's block with my main fic.

A pale moon shines gently, gracing the wonders of nature with its light. Grim clouds wander in the dark sky amid stars, casting shadows on green hills. This little trick of the sky gives scenery a bit of mystic air, turning it into lands from myths and fairy tales. Gusts of wind howls at night, rustling trees' leaves.
It is a wonder how sounds of nature change one's state of mind. I think, I am not as poetic usually to describe the surroundings in such an unhurried way. Then again, it is a tricky matter when being on a battlefield is a routine task for me.
With a shovel in hands, I climb up on one of the hills. Grass rustles beneath my shoes, but it remains unharmed when I lift my leg to make another step. Makes me think about being one with nature, but, truth be told, does this phrase fit in this situation? I am not sure, really.
While I wonder about meaningless details, my pace remains the same. I reach the top of the hill soon as I hear how my feet collide with something hard.
It is the place, I form a conclusion. I raise my shovel slowly and thrust it into the ground. Dig a bit, use the shaft as a leverage, lift the soil and throw it away. Thrust and repeat. A simple task requires nothing but a monotonous cycle.
I huff, though. It is a tedious task, despite being so simple. I cannot use any tricks, otherwise residual energy of the place will be disturbed. It would be best not to think of consequences if I manage to trigger this. A holy place should remain a holy place.
Once I think about it, my idea may seem pretty stupid for any knowing man. However, there are not many suitable locations for my plans, so my options are limited. Furthermore, this place is as far from any idiots as it is only possible.
Well, it is probably not good to let my thoughts wander off. Who knows what waits for me in the darkness of night? Nothing good, according to old books. Nothing fatal, in my case, even if it is just li'l ol' me.
I thrust the rusty shovel one last time. It hits something hard, judging by my numb hands. Something wooden, I think, since shovel is not broken. Yet.
Ominous light comes from the ground. It does not blind me, so it obviously not natural. Add super- to the beginning, though, and you are close to truth. Say magic, and you hit jackpot.
Talk about simple tasks while being on the holy grounds. A stray though or a wrong move, and a human is... not dead. No, far from it. A poor human being would be disintegrated by enraged gods like my poor shovel, in the best case. Do not even ask me what they are able to do if the push is a little stronger. I know, just for the record.
While I ponder on what I should do, light envelopes my legs. No heat, no harm yet. Therefore, it just tests me. Oh my, am I up for a challenge.
With this thought in mind, I... sigh.
The light is suppressed. It just flickers out weakly, before dissipating in the cool air. Stray gusts of winds carry sparks away from me as I smile unhappily. To be honest, I expected a bit more than just this light. A thunderbolt, at the very least, but no cigar. Way too lucky for the current me.

Don't worry, you can never be too late. As for the snippet, it was well-done, and felt a bit like the perspective of Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files, if you know who he is.

You can see Jonah as a sort of Hamazura in that he is proficient with all manner of firearms, but more trained as a soldier. He has a peculiar ability, another sort of precog able to detect an enemy, determine how many there are are and their approximate location.

Irrealistic? Maybe. Awesome? Hell yeah.

Also, he softens over the course of the series, thanks to his contact with the much more exuberant Koko, so he is not so much stoic than he was at the beginning. Concerning his relations with the other sex, though, I don't know, maybe one sided except for one, and I hesitate between Enshuu and Misaka 10777 (I mean come on, are all clones obligated to be in love with Touma?). But other than that, I would still need to work on most of the finer details but thank you for your comment!

I don't know about that much about the series, but it seems interesting. Jonah seems like an interesting person to put into the Raildex 'Verse. Would he be like Sousuke Sagara, only less socially awkward?

I wouldn't say that he is less socially awkward, given that is default expression is...well, expressionless, and very rarely does he get surprised or enthusiastic, and whenever he does, however, it's often at the minimum level.

But I guess he is, in the sense that he doesn't see every situation in a military light, since he was not raised a soldier since birth, and instead of a regular soldier he is more like a guerrillero.

Also, I just realized something about Catgirl!Kanzaki. The fur on her ears and tail are black. So she's a black cat girl. Talk about misfortunate circumstances. I intend to lampshade that during Catgirl!Kanzaki's time with Touma.

Since we're talking about crack harem pairings, what about Misaka Mikoto's list?

All of this is happening while Misaka herself is trying to get Touma. However, his Harem Aura is bigger than hers, so he isn't affected. Ironic, isn't it? Her Esper attacks at nullified by Touma's right hand and her attempts to attract him to her harem using her Harem Aura are nullified by his bigger Harem Aura.

Augh, someone please stop meeeeeeeeee!

Anyways, I have an idea. It's a very dangerous idea that could go wrong in so many ways that it's not even funny. But it is both cracky and awesome.

Touma dies in some way along his misfortunate adventures and finds that his life is a video game. Cue Fuko Da.

It then turns out that the Difficulty Setting had been put on Touma Must Die Mode (or Hell Mode, whichever could work). Everybody in the story was not actually meant to be that strong, or they weren't supposed to use that strength against Touma.

Touma then gets a whole crapload of achievements, unlockable bonuses, and new unlocked Avatars (like Dragon!Touma or Saint!Touma). There is a whole bunch of stuff that he has unlocked, because he was not meant to survive that long on his first run on Touma Must Die Mode. In Touma Must Die Mode, for every enemy he defeats, he can equip their ability. Of course, he still has to figure out what is going on with the powers he originally had.

Upon his death, his memory destruction is reversed, leaving him with memories of his entire life before Index in addition to everything that happened to him after the feather destroyed his memories.

I'll put this bluntly, though, I'm not going through with this idea without making it a crack fic. There is no way I can make a whole system of stats, skills, rewards, and all those other game details.
