I thought I'd have to give this series up because it was censored(and supposedly horribly censored at that), but now that were a few uncensored eps around, I finally started watching it. Everything looks to be in order. In the manga, I liked the fights more, since how effective an element is was based on chemistry and all that, but for the anime, I like the ecchi part of the series more, which is different from, say, comedic ecchi. The normal/fighting animation has been solid up to ep 3. Can't wait to see more, particularly chps 7 and 13 of the manga.

Finally watched that one and cannot but agree... :P
The best quote in this episode would be "What's happening to Japan?" Indeed, what's happening? ??? The series is delicious, though. You can watch it for eye-candies, some ecchi or porn and laugh at it when either of them are not working. The "sucking" scene is somehow traditional as one of "memorable" buff-up scenes for anime heroes but I cannot remember a single hero who is this "defenseless" during his power-ups. Luke in Seiken no Balcksmith has much to learn from Sasha about how to keep entertaining the audiences while letting the bad guys wait. You cannot miss the dramatic music during the process, either. As for the uncensored eps, they will appear slowly since they seem to be aired a few days to a week after the censored ones. |

it sure is more uncensored than queens blade but for some reason queens blade seems several times better than this series so far. for some reason the battle for the title of queen seems to be more interesting than this so far. though i'll probablystick with this even if it gets worse. ive already seen dragonauts and both rosario+vampire seasons. though i doubt that seikon no quasar would be worse than dragonauts (imo the worst series ever).

Episode 4... The uncensored version nearly killed me. The scene at the end was brilliant enough in the censored version, but the uncensored one blew me away... because it was way beyond my expectations. Ohyohyo! That was hilarious.
The world sure has become a great place... <--Sarcasm? Anyways~ Next episode tomorrow~

Hmm, done watching the censored version of episode 5 and I don't think I've missed out on much this time. This was a bit more on the serious side (with a special ED and all!), thus with less scenes to censor. I didn't find the episode outstanding but it's nice to see that a good amount of effort is being put into the show, and the action scenes once again looked decent too.
Spoiler for Episode 5:
