Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen

Synopsis:

The story revolves around Nao Watari. After his parent's death, he along with his little sister have shuffled around relatives. Their latest residence is with their aunt on their father's side. He showers his little sister with affection and spoils her to no end to make up for the loss of their parents. This takes up most of his time to where he doesn't have much of a social life outside school, where his classmates commonly call him a siscon.

However, trouble reenters his life in the form of his former childhood friend Satsuki Tachibana that destroyed his family's garden six years ago. That and wanting to be closer to his crush Yukari Ishihara will certainly make his life more hectic.

This has been a surprisingly good read so far. I did not expect the mystery and the way it's taken shape. There's some deep and dark implications hidden behind the scenes. The incident six years ago and what drove Satsuki's actions; the reasons the siblings' aunt took them in and her hinted soured relationship with their father/her brother; and the intrigue surrounding the MC's crush as well that offer a intricate plot that's been engaging so far.

They were staying at a few other relatives after the parent's death and it is only now that they live with the Aunt. It's an important part as it forces him to not displease the aunt to avoid being thrown out again.

Spoiler for My opinion with spoilers up to the latest chapter:

It is an okay read so far, it just lacks something to make it more outstanding.
Art is ok, plot is ok, humour comes in a good dosage, not forcing it too much.

My guess for aunt-father relationship is that he took care of her similar to how the MC deals with the sister. He left her though when he met the mother.

As for the garden destroyer incident, we saw an adult male at it. I guess it was Satsuki's father, the farmer who owned the field before. Maybe he lost it in shady ways making him want revenge and executed it via his daughter.

As for the guy hitting on the MC's crush. Looks like he tried to manipulate Ishihara into the relationship, installing the idea in her of being afraid of men. Satsuki seems to have noted it, explaining her behaviour towards him.

The worst point about the manga is that Tokui is annoying.
We were not presented any reason why he helps Watari to land on Ishihara. That should be done quickly, otherwise the drama coming from it feels pointless. As we already know he would like to keep her for himself.

My main interest while following the manga is Satsuki's situation. The really run down house... I feel some good drama-vibes from that. More than from anything else in this Manga.

Next time we will know what happened to the sister.. hopefully. Pacing got way slower in the last few chapters.

Nao-kun bought food for him and Satsuki. With some teasing 'Will my breasts will grow bigger if she eats it?' and a lame 'I don't know' reply.
Nao-kun says how he likes that the other young men like Satsuki more now and remarks that she and Tokui (I personally hate that guy) looked good together when they talked with each other.
She says that no one else than Nao-kun interests her. She brings up the past. It went along the line of 'Why are you always so kind to me?'. She hints at something that has happened 6years ago (I'm not sure whether she says 'I think I betrayed you' or 'I think I was betrayed') and Nao inquires strongly (grabbed her shoulders) what has happened in the past, but she doesn't reveal it and changes into a smile.
Satsuki said that the food was tasty and kisses Nao-kun. She leaves with a spech that he doesn't need to be kind to her anymore. Satsuki also warns him (that 'important things of him might get destroyed', or that 'even if Nao-kun is important, things will get destroyed').

No, I saw it somewhere else. There were only few pages translated and upped with a call out to the original translator.
I then looked for raws to see how many chapters were out. Since the second half of this chapter looked interesting I tried to translate it myself from the point where

Tokui is probably there to be hated. I hate him at least. Didn't he say that he was after F-cup? After pushing Nao-kun on F-cup during the field trip he was established as a gutless male.
There is also the possibility that he lied and tried to seperate Nao-kun from Satsuki all the time. If so, Satsuk knows that already from watching at his phone. That route would be blocked automatically as she would hate him for that.

I don't think there was much affection (unfortunately) at the end. From what little bit I understand it didn't go beyond an 'it suits you.', upon which she pouts and demands him to go home and called him an idiot. The typical safeguard answer from Nao-Kun, I hope he'll change soon.

Nao-kun's reaction after the talk with F-cup: 'Was I just confessed by Ishihara? This is a dream. No, this is impossible. BUT if this is reality I just used up my luck of a lifetime. The next thing to happen will be bad. *scene switch to the angry sister* 'welcome home Onii-chan'

Good Job by the sister to get Nao-kun to make up with Satsuki.

Saw a note in her calendar about her part time work. Followed her and ended up working too in panda costume.
Working Montage.
Went home together, Watari showed concerns about her, but Satsuki dismissed him.
Then Watari use the hetare special move "I can't help to worry about you because you're my childhood friend!"
Satsuki seemingly accepted the excuse and then Watari escorted her home.
When Watari about to leave, Satsuki asked him whether F-cup confessed to him.
He answered honestly and also confided to her that he's unsure how to answer since this is so unpredictable for him.
Satsuki called him a coward... jokingly and then told him he can worry as much as he wants since it's more like him.
Next day he called F-cup and then seemingly rejected her by saying "Sorry..."

I would not rejoice too early upon this, if one roots for Satsuki.
This should be the last chapter of the Volume. There is a bigger chance for turnaround at the next Volume along the line of him giving a temporary reason, than if it were just a normal chapter. (while I find it unlikely from his posture, he could even just apologising for the lack of a proper answer last time, and the real answer is yet to come. I hope the author is not that kind of a troll)
I have a bad feeling because it just seems too early to clear up the situation between the four in such a convenient way. The initial mystery hasn't been solved either.
Since there is still a decent way left to go, I think there will be an emotional rollercoaster in the next volume and a good amount of drama meant to lead us astray.

I don't think Satsuki will lose at the real end though. She basically has the imouto's support. It's a trump card in every manga.
