Yep, the GN-000 Drive is modular, and can be shared between all four Gundams.
That's a convinent way to sell more models. XD

Actually it makes sense if you want to test out a design before committing a furnace to a chasis.

GN-000 Drive seems to look different now compared to when it's on the 0 Gundam

I don't see how that helps sell model kits. If anything it is a detriment because if it's actually represented as a loose piece (meaning not glued down) and you lose one, you can just swap it with another one from another 00 Series kit you have lying around any time. That means less incentive to go out and buy a replacement set, which means less money for Bandai.

I was assuming a kit would have it glued together, though it was really an offhand remark inspired by the continuity of there only being 5 Solar Furnaces in existence. I should just be glad something makes sense about the series, even if it's not actually in the show itself.

I can't really say I enjoyed the first chapter of 00F (Handcuffs? A blonde Sumeragi? ), but hopefully it'll put the series into perspective, although the whole "no wittnesses" thing leaves me a bit worried the storyline of the manga itself won't be good in it's own right. Handcuffed by the anime as it were.

We'll see.

But still, despite the fact that there is only one GN drive on Fereshte, they came out with the idea of "swapping" just to make more Gundam models. And, ultimatelly, if they will release the kits from the side-series, they gain more money from the fans crazed by the new model designs. It is all about money. But shhh, it is nice to think that the producers are a bunch of passionate people who do this for the sake of art, right?

Well if Fershete survives maybe they can jack some GN Tau drives from Laguna or one of the three powers.

All their GNY Gundams powered maybe let GN-000 stay with the O Gundam.

LoweGear, while that is all fine and dandy, folks are making a huge inference once again. In 00P, there are 2 Gundam units launched at the same time, which rebuts that claim.

Lol The 3rd generation GN-00 Gundam series weren't built yet then.

1. There are 5 GN drives

2. GN-000 O Gundam was the prototype for all Gundam tech.

3. 4 GNY series Gundams were built with the intention of 10 GNY Gundams. The GNY Gundams were the prototypes for the 3rd gen Gundams used by the current Meisters.

Spoiler for Throne Eins Turbulenz:
We typically post 00V stuff in the News and Discussion section, where we've already posted the Throne Eins Turbulenz .

Also, linking to 4chan never works.

You might want to get the topic title changed to include it.

So it seems GNY-004 Gundam Plutone has a core fighter.

I always thought Plutone looks remarkably similar to GP-01 Zephyranthes. Or a combination of Zephyranthes and Stamen... Maybe those two were the basis for Plutone?

Well, seems the Throne Eins Turbulenz isn't as H4XX as I thought it was...

Likewise, the GN Missile containers are used only with the Eins and Zwei. When the Turbulenz is installed on the Throne Drei, these are replaced by its stealth field generators.
Kinda interested to see what a Zwei or Drei Turbulenz looks like...

Wow, it reminds me of the Zeta Plus series in Sentinel, but beefed up. Could it get any longer? XD
