plot

Ariyuki is standing in front of his fomer home which happens to be destroyed by a meteroite. Among the ruins he finds a gem which frees a young girl. Though that girl claims to be god and is willing to grant him his dearest wishes.

author/artist: Konishi Mikihisa
genre: Action, Comedy, Shounen, Supernatural (some hint of romance possibly even harem)

i wasn't able to find a thread for this manga so i made one if there was already a thread and i didn't find it tell me and i'll remove this, anyway to me this was the most awesome manga i found in 2011, the character are all nice there are a lot of funny moments where you laught till it hurts and the plot is good and serious

I'm planning to get volume 5, after read chapters 16-19.

The comedy is pretty good here, but there is a plot a lot serious about desires and wishes. What people yearn for, what one actually wants, gods and stars-eaters, etc.
Damn, I almost cried after the last revelation, and the background message of don't give up in life.

Gotta read the whole think again

I don't know, there were the last raws I could get. About Ariyuki's past and why Darumiru has those looks. But the last part of ch.19 isn't the ending, so I think there will be more chapters.

that the same raw i saw but just today i saw on bakaupdates it say vol5 complete..

I thought it would be more chapters longer. But the author has circumstances. Also, I liked this way. A pretty good series that will be in my bookshelf for sure.

just saw ch 20 raw and i hope whit all my heart that 20 is not the end...

Maybe it lacked popularity hence the serialization stopped. Honestly though, this manga has terrible pace and snail-paced plot. Not to mention the over-to-the-top comedy mixed with some gruesome scene just make some chapters seem out of place. It's by no means bad, just . . . the author switched some wrong button be it serious or comedy (sora no otoshimono seem much better in this regard), which, instead of entertaining, just made me facepalm

In general, it wasn't the worst things you'll ever read and I agree about the developments being fairly slow (it's got quite a good number of pages per chapter as well), but the problem here was that the change in pace was very abrupt sometimes, to the point of being somewhat jarring. I'm guessing the flow of the story was never really established, even after the first few chapters.

Pity it ended early though, because it had a premise that could have been developed further. The end seemed poor.

Yeah, I didn't think there will be one more chapter btw. Gotta say I've looked at Chinese translation of ch.21, and since I don't know Chinese at all... well, the only think I could say is that it was a nice ending.

So, by mere coincidence it is my 2nd complete series after 明るいセカイ計画 that was pretty good IMO.

Probably she will become human 'cause she doesn't have to grant any wishes at all, since she's the very wish Ariyuki was yearning for this time, after their parent's death. I thought it would be more chapters longer. But the author has circumstances. Also, I liked this way. A pretty good series that will be in my bookshelf for sure.
