I didn't nominate Madoka Magica in any category except Best Movie since I think Movies have an inherent advantage over TV series (due to higher budgeting/more "polish"), and so I personally don't think it's a fair comparison in most categories. However, none of my Best Storyline and Plot nominees made it through, and out of those that did, I honestly do consider Rebellion the best. All of the nominees for storyline and plot have their flaws (in my opinion) but Madoka Magica: Rebellion's plot is impressively complex and winding for a movie. And "Storyline and Plot" might be one area where movies are actually at a slight disadvantage due to less overall running time.

As for the Fantasy category, I'm favoring Madoka Magica here since it comes the closest to what I look for in Fantasy out of the nominees involved. I really wish Yuuki Yuuna had made it through here though.

Really, 2014 didn't seem that strong to me overall and most better ones are still ongoing. 2015 Should be a lot better though, considering things like Digimon Tri, Shokugeki no Souma and others. But still, having so few categories that I can vote for, almost seems depressing, espacially because I stalled many shows 3-4 EPs before the end...
